I must admit to noticing…I remember my 6th grade teacher appearing in a dress shirt that had been pulled out of a plastic bag and worn without washing or ironing. I have always noticed since then. There are fabrics that don’t required ironing, and some that if pulled directly from the drier and hung will be fine. I wear lots of linen and actually love ironing it with a sprits of lavender water.

Highly recommend the brightly colored straps to wrap around your luggage. They don’t always land in the proper group and they make finding them much easier at the airport as well.

This is a new level of low. Is that supposed to be Eggs Benedict? Cut up hot dogs with potatoes? I remember my mom making that for dinner at the end of the month in the 60’s. I can’t imagine who thought it was a good idea to serve it on a cruise ship. I can’t figure out what is in the forefront of the picture.

Good luck @Pushpit.

Linguine? I don’t think so. Linguine is flat, but I’m glad the flavor was to your liking. I thought the presentation of the arancini and the tuna was the best so far. It’s hard to make Veal Marsala in a situation where you’re serving a lot of people. It has to be cooked perfectly and served immediately. Look like you had a pretty good day for food. Loved all of your pictures of Toulon and sad to hear you were treated rudely.

Quick review: 2 weeks on QE in the med, in a Q2 Suite
techteach replied to s.s.France's topic in Cunard Line
@david63 I’m wondering along with @NE John about how the tax is applied for the Drinks Package. @rakkor did you do a drinks package on your recent Med cruise? -
We did the Empress Tea many years ago and it was very good. Not sure I’d pay for it now. I didn’t mention it since we’re on Cunard and there’s tea almost every day on QE.

@NE John Grandson and I did the Bear Fortress excursion in Sitka and really enjoyed it. Folks who walked around town expressed a little unhappiness. Victoria is a hard one because it isn’t a short walk into town. Hopefully Cunard has a shuttle you can hop on. It’s a pretty city and it you like flowers Butchart Gardens is beautiful. Sounds like you’ve got the other ports covered! Are you flying direct to Vancouver or going through Seattle?

I would go to London before Christmas every year if I could and then take the TA that departs on the 15th of December back to the states. We ordered baskets from F&M for Christmas delivery as presents and it was SO much fun to watch people open them. The windows on Oxford and all of the lights hanging across the streets, the people bicycle Santas across from Saint Martin’s in the Fields. Tea at Claridges and watching football in a pub. Asking my DH now, “When can we go back?”

YIKES! That is a really bad shade of green.

Cunard Cruisers - How are things where you are ?

@D&N Tears in my eyes for both of you. I hope Ursel handles it as best as possible. -
The library on QV is one of the things I’m most looking forward to seeing. The pictures are beautiful, more beautiful I think than QM2. I don’t know about other library on other Carnival brands, but the Regatta had a well stocked and beautiful library. Darn, the pic. Is on my phone…
