  5. He's great and we watch him regularly. He does not accept free fares from the industry so his opinions are for real on his part.
  6. The tender situation may have to due with St Barts and their rules. She was lucky to get to St Barts. The last 2 times the ship was unable to tender and to weather conditions.

  8. The PG was our very first cruise ever! We were total innocents about cruising. We were totally spoiled and went back 9 times to finally sample all of their itineraries. Covid and our bank account ended more PG cruises. Enjoy your time on the PG. It is a very special cruise line.
  9. Owner's suite does not have a window in the bedroom if that matters. I have seen both and refer the 701.
  10. I assume if no cabins come available, one's deposit is returned? How early is one informed if a desired cabin comes available? Thanks.
  11. We are interested in a cruise that is entirely "wait listed" . If one wanted to be wait listed what are the booking requirements? Do we have to put down a deposit, etc. to be wait listed? Thanks.
  12. If you are willing to eat at 8 pm your chances are better of getting a reservation beyond your alloted spots.
  13. You get early booking for your specialty restaurants and early embarkation.A staffed lounge with tv and and snacks.
  14. I think that you have some issues or concerns about your cruise you can write a note and leave it at reception for the general manager. I'm not disputing your comments but I have never have been on a cruise without any kind of feedback request. Our last O cruise was from Dec 5 to Dec. 17th.
  15. Oceania still does the mid cruise survey(hand written) and the final survey. Yes, it is online but on our ship the CD kept announcing you could get help to complete it online. Yes, the ship crew reads the surveys. I know because we had 2 examples of the crew responding to our comments. Plus, the final survey is advertised as having the chance to win $100 SBC if the comments were submitted by a certain date. Well, lo and behold, at breakfast my name was announced! I went to reception and was advised that it was not transferable to my next cruise. I only had $8.75 on my bill. Once we were at home, I contacted our TA who communicated with Oceania and a week or two later we had our credit on our next cruise!
  16. Laundry service is really for underwear and tee shirts nothing needing ironing. It's nice but take that into consideration.
  17. All cruise lines need to add more shade options to their lido decks. That would help immensely with the chair hog problem. Once on a Regent cruise this was a problem we just asked the pool attendant and asked him to move items. which he did.
  18. This is off the message. I apologize upfront. Babysteps: I lost your email address. Empire can order the Riesling we tasted but only the 2021 and 2022 vintage. Will we have the same wonderful wine? Thanks! Also any other Finger Lakes wine you can recommend? Thanks.
  19. Go for the later flight. You might opt for a Miami tour departing from the ship which ends at the airport. It's interesting tour if you are not acquainted with the city. We found that the walk to the AA gate at the airport was very long and if you don't have enough time to walk you can be rushed after checking in at the airport.
  20. I contacted my TA and she advised me that everyone misses the necessary click. She corrected it for us giving us our discount. I noticed that we are leaving La Paz earlier due to tides. I hope this does not impact on any one's plans.
  21. We received $800 for excursions under the prior January 1 O Life plan. We requested 4 excursions bur the invoiceon the computer does not reflect the 25% discount for ordering 4 tours. Previously when we had only 3 booked the computer advised us that we needed 1 more to qualify. What is happening?
  22. Just be careful when booking since the final payment dates have changed (shorten time). If you elect to take the sbc while on board and then cancel the cruise you will be billed for that amount. My husband hates to commit so we are always wrangling around about booking.
  23. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean will match levels but they are within the same corporation.
  24. Could someone explain how this program works? If we have Regent loyalty and ask for the equal level on MSC how does that work? Do we lose our loyalty on Regent? Thanks.
