I have dec 13 and dec 21 booked and dec 13 2024 had everything I could buy but dec 21, excursions just dropped within the last month. None in 2025 have stuff to buy. I wait for black friday to buy excursions. I got a TA and a 2nd leg in europe booked 2025, need excursions. Long wait until next black friday. There isnt a set date is what people are telling you.

Cutting back yes. Another thread here is about msc is charging for 2nd entree, is carnival? I've rarely asked for another, like short ribs were mostly fat, or wrong cook on steak, I dont eat it red. I wouldnt like the option removed if entree wasnt good. But mostly as I said I read they are the lowest. .. didnt say they werent raising prices like everyone else. Just said they were currently considered the lowest priced on many boards. It's been a while since my last carnival cruise and dinners werent great imo. I was with you its doable until you said you will be taking the rcl shuttle. Doesnt the shuttle say it's only for flights after noon or some such? You would need to grab a taxi or uber and not wait for a shuttle to stop at other gates. One or the other. Dont take a shared ride to a further airport with a tight schedule.

Some of us make decisions all the time and get less than we would want if we had unlimited dollars to spend. I'd only book the newest and suites all the time. I wouldn't settle for a grand suite on a older ship, I'd book icon or star. Are you really you dont decide cruises without any consideration to cost. Suites or bust I say. Lol.

I booked for further out than you but I am reading about rome especially as that is where mine ends. I am thinking more like 4 days after to explore rome. Air2sea for yours should be bookable now. My TA says 11 months out transfers and flights can be booked thru rcl. For me too soon. Actually as I posted I just looked up anthem and said I see one april 2025. Is there another or this is the one in limbo? I'm asking. Still not sure which date is being talked about. My number is $100 a day total so i love your price. Mine is a new booking $1321 for a balcony may 2025 voyager TA. So mine is a few bucks over but close. 13 days. Solo. With DP340. I'm happy it's a balcony anyway. Adventure for a inside cabin costs more out of PC. Everything else I got is more $$$ per day. I think that's my best deal on a per day $$$ basis for rcl.

Not a dedicated comedy club like oasis class has comedy shows in a fixed room you can pre book. Jewel will be whatever comedian flies on. Regular shows in theater. I doubt if any other venue.

The TA may 2025 is about half this, though only 13 days. Total. None of this per person nonsense. You know prices are too high when people dont post the total cruisefare price. .... using my thumbnail $100 per day, total all in. For a balcony. Must be a bigger bargain than I thought.

I hate canned water or even canned soda. It wouldn't work with me. I'm always giving out my water they keep putting in my cabin. Lol. I like a glass with lots of ice in it. I drink the ships water. On rcl though you never know for sure which brand will show up. I wouldnt buy water. I'll pay extra for food, rarely a drink. What gets me laughing is charging a 18% tip on water.

For sure I want to see the Colosseum. And tivoli and the spanish steps. I guess the vatican, not a huge draw for me. My friends who have been there tell me I cant just do it by the seat of my pants, I need to plan tours out ahead. It will be very crowded at the excursion places. Lol I dislike italian food generally so I'm not real sure it's a great idea. I dont eat pasta or cooked tomatoes. My friends asked me ., are you going to be able to find food, mcdonalds is expensive. Well of course I dont want to eat at mcdonalds anyway. Leg 2 I saw hit greece twice .. rome just happens to be the last stop. Friends i meet booked the 3rd leg .. ends in Athens greece. I've considered it lol. I read hotel reviews for some that have lots of good reviews and lower cost than the one everyone here seems to book. They had to download what's app to communicate with their hotel. So i either have to pay a extra $1k for a hotel or i get one where english may not be spoken much. Agree. I don't remember when carnival changed to only allowed to carry on cans. Royal allows anything almost, cardboard, plastic, cans .. up to 17 oz. I tried to carry on carbonated water for carnival and we hated it in cans. Didnt drink it. Also I'm allowed 5 free drinks a day on rcl plus 3 waters are waiting in my cabin. Not a good comparison.

Lol people used to say carnival is cheapest. Now I read msc is the cheapest, though not convenient to Galveston so never considered it. No savings if i have to fly to save a few hundred dollars. The only new releases on royal under 1k for a week are out of tampa, oldest smallest, grandeur for instance I can do under 1k. I didnt even like grandeur lol. I read many celebrity cruises less than royal. Royal with all its family playground stuff is where it's gotten too pricey for me. Wonder and utopia were group bookings, not something I said oh I want to do a more expensive new ship. I keep watching carnival rates and still as a solo agree with saint greg. Better deals elsewhere, sad :( I used to book fall, often sept, height of hurricane season for less. Could often find a deal for a $100 a day .. all in, total. Now hurricane season you dont see the low prices from before.

If you buy it before you board it will cost less than paying full price onboard. For my next cruise its 55.99 before I board or 64.99 after I board. A gratuity of 18% will be added to that price. Plus drinks if you order a drink of course.

I'm doing leg 1 and leg 2 may 2025 voyager from PC. 2nd leg ends in rome, so I'm reading about tours. Cant see much for may 2025 so far away so right now just reading. Not everyone only has 1 day port stop in rome. TA was a awesome group price. Leg 2 not so much lol. But decided if I'm already over there 2nd leg stops in Greece twice and would be a shame not to see greece. So it ends in rome.

I cant say I race to the port, but I hate to be late to stuff. So I'm early, ..just because. I guess I'll just keep on doing what I do. I have seen them check boarding times in Galveston but I always have the earliest time.

Potato chips are long gone on all these ships except thru room service. I didnt see panini either. They had a microwave they stuck my roast beef in, I didnt ask. About 6 items in the dessert case. The WJ did have a pasta and stir fry area. They made crepes once a week there for dessert. One ignt made burritos. I disnt go hungry and had a lot of good food but stuff was cut back.

I was on conquest and we were dumped in new orleans. I sure never until now heard this we were busses back. We stood in line and got 1 phone call. Took me hours as I was with 2 hc people. We had crew helping wheel chair them off. If there was any bussing us back I would have heard either at guest services or debarking in new orleans. Were you there? If you werent busses, then i assume this was made up. I paid to rent a car. Never saw my car again as Galveston was closed and took so long for allstate to get down there. You could have reboarded after you went thru customs in new orleans. Later those who reboarded got permission for conquest to dock at then then new never used port in Houston, but we didnt know this when we got off in new orleans. I swore then carnival was so awful I'd never cruise with them again. No free internet, just stand in line and 1 call. First call then didnt have any mid sized rentals. To call a 2nd rental place, another hour in line. Never cruised again with 2 hc adults. No offer of bussing. Impossible I wouldnt have heard. .

I didnt remember seeing specialty coffee in there, thought maybe I missed it. I did think choices were slimmed down. And who makes up these names, mini bites for free mexican food. Surely they could have come up with a name implying mexican.

Dont forget mini bits, aft deck 15 is also free. Just past the free soft serve cones is mini bites. Its sorta mexican. Chips and lots of dips, some pulled pork and beef etc. Black beans. I made nachos a few times. Gotta time this well. It was popular. There is a free hot dog place deck 6 out on boardwalk. I dont eat hot dogs. So I never tried it. Also sausage dogs.

Park cafe is free for most everything. Idk if they have specialty coffee in there like allure, it's not free. Everything else was free. The small election of desserts on harmony was way around the corner. 2 soups of the day there now plus the beef sandwiches free and the make your own salad. Salad choices came in from 2 sides to meet in the middle. I thought to cover up fewer choices. It was the only place I found honey mustard dressing.
