  1. Hi! Can you please post the link for the camisoles. It looks like you posted the linen shirts twice. I am not a big shopper, but these styles look great! Thank you.
  2. We just did the Ephesus tour off the Star Flyer in early May 2022. It took maybe 30 minutes to get there from the ship, not an hour. The tour was long enough, plenty of walking/standing/stair climbing--no areas to sit. Most all were more than ready to leave. It was very crowded, and the entrance and exits were a "zoo". Thankfully, our tour guide had our passes loaded electronically, so were we able to enter the grounds pretty fast.
  3. Just returned from a 13-day trip on Star Clippers, 8 May 2022. The ship's bars were open all the time while we were in Greece. No added (tax) charges. 😎
  4. PS-I have been using "tripinsurancestore" the past several years. Very helpful, and so many options.
  5. Just returned from a 13-day Grand Voyage. Malta to Athens. Yes, they required trip insurance to cover Covid related items. They needed the company name and your policy number. They asked for this before they sent the final cruise docs. Also, they wanted copies of covid vaccination/booster cards.
  6. Don't need to see a bunch of stuff on balconies. Tacky and trashy.
  7. It was easy to pick up a tour/taxi ride in the Greek islands. Some of the SC tours were cancelled on our last voyage because not enough people signed up--we only had 60 passengers the last week. Also, the passengers on SC tend to be very well travelled with many Europeans. A lot of them had already visited the places where tours were offered. We just did our own thing and had most lunches onshore enjoying the local environment. Research the ports beforehand.
  8. Just returned from our 10th Star Clipper sailing on the Star Flyer. They do not post port times. Even when you get on the ship, port times are not stated in advance. Once on board, at least on the Star Flyer, the best way to figure it out is to check the massage schedule in the Library. It had the port times on it so people would know when to schedule a massage. Also, check the excursion book in the library. Doing third party excursions is kind of shaky, due to factors listed in above post. If you do book third parties, know the companies' cancellation policies. This past cruise , we had a tender that wouldn't lock for lifting for quite awhile before being fixed, and a big boat show in one port that required us to tender from pretty far out instead of docking.
  9. We just got off the Star Flyer today after a 13 day trip. The Malta to Athens leg had about 96 people, the next cruise from Athens and return was about 60 people. This included one or two couples who jumped ship from the Star Clipper to our ship at the last minute due to being unhappy on the Star Clipper run from the Suez. They said the food loaded on that ship was bad from the start and crew were in training. They were past SC cruisers, not new. The Star Flyer was fine (our 10th SC cruise). Masking was enforced throughout the cruise in all closed areas except when eating. Masks were required when going through the food lines, and on all tender and excursion rides. It was a great cruise. We did have some chilly/windy days up to today, 8 May. Layer your clothes. The first week the weather encouraged people to use the pools.
