  2. The E- mail arrived a few minutes ago. When I first started cruising with Hal and started a new Hal account I was prompted do you want future ads and promos. I said no.Years later I questioned that and talked to my PCC who changed that and I now receive offers. PS: One more Hal cruised booked and rest on our Azamara.
  3. I can’t handle interior staterooms but for those that can this may be worth looking into too. I received an Hal E-mail today for these selected cruises. Maybe worth investigating. It’s probably all you get. No have it all here!
  4. Up early but rested, meanwhile the body thinks it’s noon time! We got unpacked, sorted through trash mail and laundry is complete. DW left her I Pad at security at Lyon Airport. Surprisingly they found it and our mailing it to us.🙏 Tonight we have our church small group of which I’m not very prepared for but it will be nice to see everyone. We have been meeting on Thursday nights for around ten years now. We have had many flights this year and yesterday I received notification from Delta that I have reached Platinum status. Less of a benefit these days as the planes are flying full capacity so less upgrades but I will use my 500,000 accrued points to good use some day. We have been to St Thomas many times and will revisit again in January when we check out the Azamara Onward and the cabin we will occupy on the 2024 World Cruise. A 155 day voyage is still mind boggling! Thanks for the Fleet Report, Roy’s Care List and all who contribute to our Daily read. Prayers for all who are having issues or sorrows these days.

  6. I’m reluctant to comment without official knowledge but we were told many months ago, from fellow cruisers that Carol has passed. We had cruised with Carol and them so I believe this to be true as we have not seen any post from @CJcruzer in a long time. She was a great contributor to our Hal board and was a great planner and organizer of some outstanding excursions.
  7. Good morning. We both finally crashed to the tune of I could have danced (slept) all night! One more day and we should be back to normal. Yesterday, when I tried to sign in I saw a notice from CC stating they were aware of log in issues and we should disregard any E-mails an do not reset our password as the problem is at CC and not us. Seems like it’s running OK this morning. We definitely need a grocery run today and I need to do some outside cleanup as the ole oak tree is giving birth to thousands of acorns. On our cruise with Scenic I was asked to check out about solo cruising with the line. All I could get out of the HD and CD was yes we have solo’s some time. Usually with late bookings and some early bookings?? I never was able to get a definitive answer.☹️ Thanks for the report and list and food wine and cocktail columns.   9. Good morning. We arrived on time in Atlanta with our bags and have spent the night at the Renaissance. Headed back to the airport for one more bag drag and should be home by noon Central.
  10. Phew! Passed my annual cardiac stress test with a race through Schiphol in Amsterdam. We are on board and coming home. Hopefully, with luggage.
  11. -Good afternoon. We are at Lyon Aeroporto awaiting our flight to Amsterdam. The only 1:40 layover is a little concerning after our experience earlier this year at Schipol. It is what is. If all goes well we’ll arrive in Atlanta at 9:30. Get some sleep at at a hotel before finishing our flight Wednesday morning. Thanks for the report and post. Good chance this post may not go as internet in Air France Lounge is off and on. Have a great week.
  12. Last nights choir concert in a beautiful chapel with tremendous acoustics was so special. Just a perfect end to a very special adventure.
  13. Good afternoon. We disembarked our boat this morning then went on a walking tour. We have a pickup tomorrow morning at 11 AM for a flight to Amsterdam and connecting flight to Atlanta. The weather is beautiful and of the city is bursting with people. Two school break and tomorrow is a holiday. In France they set clocks back an hour last night and the extra hour was very appreciated. We had some cheese, several cold meat cuts, salad and of course wine for lunch. Would love a nap but trying to hold off so I can sleep well throughout the night. Thanks for the reports, list and post.
  14. Sitting up on top deck and enjoying the sunshine and a waiter came by and offered me a Moscow Mule in an iced proper copper mug! Never seen this drink offered on a cruise. Plus I have my like a post back.👏🏻👏🏻 Life is good.
  15. Good afternoon. Really poor signal today and unable to like a post! This morning we toured Perouge, France which is said to be one of the prettiest villages in all of France. It pretty much looks the same as it did in the 1400’s. It’s another beautiful day here and we were told today the warmest October since they first started recording weather data. Tonight we are being taken to a historical building to enjoy a choir in concert and tomorrow we disembark. We are pretty much packed and will spend tomorrow night at the famous Hotel Inte Continental before starting our long trek home on Monday. At least we gain an hour back tonight. This has been a wonderful cruise. The staff of 46 all have multiple task and are all over the place pampering. Really enjoyed having an all inclusive cruise. Drinks, dining, excursions are all included. Thanks for the Report and post. Liked them all even though I can’t acknowledge. Bruce

  17. It was another specialty dinner last night prepared by our Executive Chef and staff. Doesn’t get much better then this.
  18. We are on Scenic Luxury Line. Our boat is Scenic Sapphire. Overnight we have been sailing North on the Rhône back to Lyon. We will overnight two nights and disembark Sunday and start our flight back on Monday. This has been a wonderful experience.
