  1. Good morning! I think we have been to todayโ€™s port of call. Will have to discuss with DW when she returns from her morning walk. Currently 60 and only will get up to 70 today. The soup doesnโ€™t entice me but I will usually try something new and hopefully be surprised. For those in Nicoleโ€™s path your in our thoughts and prayers. The beach erosion from Ian is definitely continuing with this storm after watching live coverage. Thanks for the reports and do pray news from Lenda shows improvement in her DWโ€™s health.
  2. @Quartzsite Cruiser Linda your DH and you are on my prayer list. Sorry to hear about this setback in his recovery. Bruce
  3. Good morning! We did early voting and it will be sure nice to be rid of political commercials starting tomorrow. Thoughts and concerns for our fellow Floridians on this latest storm. We have enjoyed snorkeling at various places in the world but in my opinion the prettiest was in Bonaire. I dare say there have been a lot of pain, discomfort, injury, infection, procedures going on amongst us this week. I guess itโ€™s called getting old and for that Iโ€™m very grateful!๐Ÿ˜ƒ If you havenโ€™t done so get out and vote. Thanks for the reports and chuckles. Have a grand day! Bruce
  4. Good morning. Itโ€™s already 70 degrees and forecasted to reach a record high of 83. Looks like East Coast could receive some tropical weather this week but it appears we will remain dry. My spaghetti dinner received the ultimate compliment of guest going back for seconds! Will be heading out for a walk and then itโ€™s another Monday laundry day. We weโ€™re in Cabo last fall and will be revisiting this April on our Eurodam cruise and I believe we are going to repeat on the Salsa Salsa excursion that we enjoyed so much. We have had bear sightings in our development and there is a new alligator swimming around the golf course lake. We also have a bobcat family appearing on our street now and then along with the yelping of coyotes packs in the area. Thanks for the Daily Fleet Report and member contributors. Have a grand week. Bruce
  5. Thank you for sharing your cruise experience.
  6. We enjoyed a nice church service and sermon. We have a couple coming over for dinner tonight and I been tasked with being the executive chef. Iโ€™m making my popular spaghetti sauce which is pretty much an all day process of tweaking it throughout the day. The sauce or gravy is from scratch. Pork neck bones for flavor, a little bacon, ground beef/pork, fresh herbs and lotโ€™s of red wine. Needless to say the house is quite aromatic with garlic, onions, and seasonings as it simmers all day. I believe we have finally adjusted to Central time which will last two weeks before we fly to California to visit with our son and his family and granddaughter Tilly for a couple of weeks stay. Besides Thanksgiving visiting Hearst Castle and some surrounding wineries are on the schedule. Another beautiful clear day with temperatures in the eighties. We just missed out on some rain yesterday and unfortunately donโ€™t see any in the forecast. We did early voting and I hope people exercise their voting rights. Have a great week. Bruce
  7. Good morning! Just a quick glance and post as we getting ready to head to church. Thanks for the report, list and post.
  8. Good morning! Another beautiful but dry day with no rain in future forecast. We had a lovely lunch date yesterday overlooking the harbor and fishing fleet. It was so filling that we skipped dinner and again it was early to bed. Maybe gaining that extra hour tonight will get us synchronized to Central time. We rode through Inverness this summer but didnโ€™t stop as we had visited on a prior trip to Scotland. Scotland is so beautiful complimented by wonderful and amiable citizens. I could live there if and when they decide to drive on the right side of the road! Getting ready to head to the local farmers market to see whatโ€™s being offered this morning. So blessed and thankful for our wonderful lifestyle. Never take it for granted and savor every moment. Thanks for the reports, post and laughs.
  9. Glad the move and trip went well. Time for a good nights sleep. You did good in your move preparations. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  10. We are booked as well as other family members and received the offer via E-mail. Not sure why but it is what it is.
  11. Our sister-in-law just took advantage of this and is working and hoping for an upgrade. Will see. Is this desperate times for a desperate cruise line? Who knows? As an avid cruiser, I hope not. We love cruising. As we age, we are well aware and fortunate that our cruising will not last forever. Book while you can and we are doing just that!
  12. Close to 500 days on Hal and have never had an issue. Sorry about your experience but it does appear to be an isolated case.
  13. Finally some positive news!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  14. Our Norway cruise in July had mostly folks from Europe who appeared a little more dressy. I got by with just the minimum more country club casual as we had a 3 week land tour in Scotland prior. Did not feel out of place.
  15. Spent two weeks on Rotterdam in July/August, 14 days in March and over 30 days last year.
  16. I received the E-mail as well as my 4 Star SIL and neither one of us has spent a dime in a Hal Casino. No idea how Hal chooses who gets the offer.
  17. On our recent river cruise in France we faced timed with family while on ship WiFl.
  18. Thank you for your prompt and positive reply.
  19. We just learned that our June Intensive Spain cruise on Journey will also be a Perry Golf cruise. Will this have any impact on us that are onboard and not part of golf. We have been on some cruises with private groups that block off area of ships for private meeting, lectures, dining etc. What should we expect? Thanks.
  20. Good morning. Roy, wishes for safe travel and a great cruise experience. Well, we didnโ€™t make it to our small group last night. After an early dinner our bodies reminded us we were still on France time! Called and let them know we werenโ€™t coming and managed to last until 7:00 PM before losing consciousness!๐Ÿ˜ด Itโ€™s currently 62 degrees but as the day warms into the seventies the game plan is put the top down on the Spyder and drive to a lunch spot overlooking the Gulf. Debbie I do hope the final steps in your move go smoothly and without a hitch. We visited Mazatlan last fall on the MS Nieuw Amsterdam. Thanks for the reports.
  21. Enjoying all the post on this cruise. Maybe some day.
