  1. You are better off asking your flight question either in the air forum or Japan forum.
  2. Whoops, my apologies, I did misread your post. Sorry. So did you understand it that both ships would be in Asia, but not specifically in Japan (millennium). Most interested in March/April, which is after your cruise, but any insight appreciated.
  3. Also a thread specifically about April 9,2024, which was the first one Identified as “code red”
  4. It’s Millennium that is the problem , not Solstice
  5. It’s Millennium that is the problem, not Solstice
  6. No the Qsine menu is gone. The space still exists and there is some signage that says Qsine on it but now it’s called “Le petite chef at Qsine” or the like.
  7. An option they did not do, and perhaps never even considered, would be something like the airlines do when a flight is oversold. They ask for volunteers to travel at a later time for some compensation. Celebrity could have written to everyone on the cruise asking if anyone was interested in being voluntarily bumped from their cruise to another time and date. instead they resorted to involuntary bumps which has done nothing but cause stress to all who are booked on Japan cruises for 2023 and 2024.
  8. There are really too many choices to list. There are different wine lists for the dining rooms, for cellar Masters, Oceanview, all the specialties. And there are quite a few offerings but you’re not actually on the printed wine list at all that your Sommalier can tell you about.
  9. Read the OP’s post again. It said tge call came from Celebrity, not a TA
  10. Not everyone disagreed with you. I have been watching this with much concern. Nothing yet from my Travel agent. How about you?
  11. It seems to me that you should be directing some of your anger away from Celebrity and toward your travel agent who is not handling this well for you. First of all, the agent should have searched for good alternatives for you, and there are plenty out there. Secondly, if there were no acceptable substitutions for the land portion, the travel agent should be the one advocating with Celebrity to have you getting the correct refunds and/or assistance with bookings, flights by Celebrity, etc. If one of Celebrity’s vendors, in this case whoever is operating the land portion of the cruisetour, oversold, the cruise portion would still remain intact. It should not have been difficult to find an option for the days you would be on land so you could continue to enjoy the cruise. Again, the travel agent hasn’t stepped up.
  12. For my upcoming cruise they are telling me that the main dining room venue is closed. We all know that isn’t the case. The information simply has not been loaded into the app and they mean that the venue you are interested in is closed to bookings right now, not closed completely
  13. Is that information on the app? Where should we look? Thanks for the instructions. I tried that and I see that only the first seven nights are on the app. I think there will be three chic nights not two on a 15 night cruise.
  14. Is that information on the app? Where should we look?
  15. I’m not sure if this is really your first post or not and I’m so sorry this is happening to you but please tell us a little bit more. When is the cruise?
  16. Never the last night. But the first one could be on either day two or day three and there isn’t any real good with
  17. I think she has only posted one so far and it was from embarkation day on about page 12
  18. Celebrity has a strict “no smoking indoors” policy so no smoking in any state room or in the casino or any of the public areas. Also no smoking on balconies.
  19. It might help if you tell us when you’re cruising
  20. I doubt if there is room for a shower stool. Suggest you try the Accessible Cruising Forum where you might get further information.
  21. And that emphasizes the reason why if you’re not going to eat in blue, you should let the Maitre D know. Suite passengers can eat there on a space available basis and they need to be able to evaluate how much space is available. So if you were going to eat in the main dining room, or a specialty, on any given night, letting them know helps them to be able to accommodate everybody who wants to eat in Blu.
