Last night our menu had no “appetizers” on it—Two salads and two soups. This has been reported elsewhere but it was the first time we ran into it. The main dining room food has been absolutely delicious, but this cut back was noted.

For my “go green” I have one cleaning a day. Nothing in the morning, and a complete cleaning in the evening. That fits my schedule best. It depends on the ship. On edge class ship the blue kitchen and the other kitchens are separated and health department recommends that they not move foods between them. On Mand S class ships the kitchens are close and there’s generally no problem with ordering Main dining room food when you are in blue

It’s also normal that they ask you to book your dining times, even though Luminae does not need reservations and is all open seating. The same happens for Blu.

I have sometimes seen utter and complete nonsense posted on line, even here on Cruise Critic. I don’t mean member’s posts, I mean the articles about ships and cruising. I sometimes wonder if the staff who write them have ever been on a ship.

AMA also has just a few hundred guests at a time. They are able to personalize more than a cruise ship can. Apples and oranges.

The general rule is that Suites and zeniths go before all other staterooms and those with Celebrity tours will go before those without.
