  1. Silhouette for the kids club and the forward-facing Sky lounge, no question eden is impressive but you want that forward facing view in the scenic areas
  2. No. That’s not what we are saying, nowhiners There’s no fee for the concierge lunch 9.95 for room service other than continental breakfast
  3. For those who don’t have a drink package, the bloody Mary’s and Bellini’s and sparkling wine are a nice breakfast treat.
  4. I am happy to see that this is not the case
  5. Occasionally, especially when there are very large numbers of elites and above on board, the breakfast will become a buffet
  6. I agree that luggage valet will not be an option for you. 11 AM is a little tight in Seattle because the terminal is so far from the airport. it isn’t an international flight, is it? That would make it worse.
  7. You can ask for no melon, or just leave it uneaten on your plate.
  8. If it is refundable onboard credit, they will put it back to your credit card. If it is nonrefundable, here are some ideas ——— Because this gets asked so often I've compiled a list of things to spend OBC on. The only thing I know of now that you CAN'T buy with OBC is a deposit on a Future Cruise. You need a credit card for that. Also, there may be some card game in the casino with a cash only buy-in. And if they do a fundraiser, like selling t-shirts to “save the reefs” and the like, expect to need cash for that. Otherwise, here you go: *Acupuncture *Airport transfers *Alcove Rental (some ships) *Apple products etc. and Ilounge classes *Art Auction Purchases *Babysitting *Barber Shop services *Behind the Scenes Tours *Beverages -- Alcoholic, carbonated soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas, bottled water — if not in your package, also beverages above your package limits *Bingo and Deal or No Deal *Bottles of wine *Casino *Chef’s Table *Corkage charged if you bring your own bottles of wine to the MDR *Duty free liquor and cigarettes *Extra cost entrees and other items in Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants *Extend Your Stay program *Fitness classes *Flowers *Gelato *Gift shop souvenirs, purses, watches, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, etc. *Gratuities, and extra gratuities *Guests dining with you in Luminae (applies to Suite Passengers only) *Guest entertainers' CD's and DVD's *Hair and nail salon *Hollywood hot glass experiences (some ships) *Internet if not in your package, also Internet upcharges *Laundry/pressing/drycleaning *Liquor Tasting events *Luggage Valet *Martini Flights *Medical Center purchases *Mini bar *Portrait photo sessions *Pay-per-view movies *Persian Gardens passes *Personal Training Sessions *Photos & cameras *Room service fees *Ryde spinning classes *Shore Excursions *Shuttle to town (some ports) *Spa -- massages and treatments *Specialty restaurants *Teeth Whitening *Telephone calls using ship's system *Transfer to another passenger's account *Voyage in Review DVD *Wine and liquor tastings *Zumba They will always use non-refundable OBC first, then refundable OBC, And if you run out of that then it goes on your credit card
  9. All rooms have a mini fridge, which is more of a cooler than a true refrigerator. How cold do your medicines need to be?
  10. Yes. The coffee drinks without alcohol are Premium.
  11. No. Some cruise lines give you an option to refuse cabin changes, but Celebrity does not
  12. I don’t believe so. I have seen people ask and be denied because staff said that they didn’t have paper/plastic to go cups. on the other hand if you take your own cup you would probably be ok to fill your cup there.
  13. The captains Club hosts and other concierge team members come and go. Most often they there in the first few days of the cruise
  14. Actually it finishes at ten every day, not just sea days. (Not offered on disembarkation morning.)
  15. The MDR will only be open for lunch on Sea days. On port days it is never open. sushi is one possible option for lunch. It isn’t always open on every day of every cruise, so check their schedule On some cruises, on one of the sea days there may be a special lunch in Tuscan.
  16. Thank you. Ponant is not on my radar at all.
  17. Ah, now I understand. For 2024 you would have to pick a different cruise line to do a transatlantic leaving from Rome.
  18. It would be helpful to know why the OP decided to use the ship transfer
  19. I’m confused. With what purpose was the OP trying to contact Celebrity?
  20. It might not be a bad idea. We don’t know enough about the OP’s situation. it could be a good idea for someone who is not from the US and doesn’t have any US currency and doesn’t want to use their credit card because of the conversion fees. It could be a good idea for someone who doesn’t speak English very well. It could be a good idea for someone who has onboard credit to burn through. It could also be part of a travel package and be prepaid, which would make taking a taxi silly because then you would be paying twice.
  21. It would help if you would tell us the names of the ports. When you are on the ship, you can go to the Shore Excursions desk and ask to be put on a waitlist for a sold out excursion.
  22. You have probably missed it because it is called the Coffee Lounge, not Breakfast. It is definitely still an Elite perk.
  23. Something is amiss. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the cruise port to the airport. They will want everyone off the ship by 930 latest. Putting those two things together, it looks like they are implying that the transfer wouldn’t leave until 11:15, which makes no sense. I have taken ship transfers many many times in Fort Lauderdale. They usually leave between eight and nine, and off and there are several buses spaced out during that time frame. So that would put one at the airport between 8:30 and 9:30, not 11:30. So somewhere the information you are seeing has gotten muddled. The only reason I know of to take the ship transportation is if you have onboard credit that needs to be used up. You can book the transfer once you were on the ship, and there is no reason to do it ahead of time, so you could straighten out the time issue at guest relations who will advise you which transfer time to book. or, if the ship transfer is pre-booked for you as part of a pre-paid package, guest relations can advise you as to your transfer options. as noted, Fort Lauderdale is an easy airport to get to. If you decide not to take a ship’s transfer tgere will be several other easy and inexpensive choices.
