  1. No complimentary in-room bottle water. There may be a couple of bottles of water in the state room but if you use them you will be charged.
  2. Last year I was on a cruise with a large group of retired American airlines flight attendants. They had some of their own excursions which could not be booked by others. I’m pretty sure there was no way to know ahead of time that they would be there because it was a closed group booking available only to members of that organization.
  3. The walls are magnetic. They do not use a system where you need to insert a key card to keep the lights on the way some lines do.
  4. Yes, the E class works that way but the S class, which equinox is, has the traditional dining you are used to as one of its options
  5. Nobody is sure what inventory they pull from. It is most likely that the ones that you see listed available for pre-buying are those which are generally available from one cruise to the next. But it would not surprise me to see some sort of language that they can substitute wine should your first choices not be available.
  6. Since you are new, here’s some more advice. When you ask for recommendations, it helps to give us more information about yourself. Are you looking for active experiences, a quiet day at a beach, a hike, a museum, snorkeling, shopping, etc..
  7. No cold brew on board. You will be making your own by pouring coffee over ice.
  8. I think you have confused ships. The casino is one deck down, with no access to the open decks
  9. Cafe Al Bacio is on the starboard side. You won’t find smoking on the deck outside it unless there are high winds and they have to move the smoking area or if they are bunkering and need to clear the port side for a short time
  10. Because this gets asked so often I've compiled a list of things to spend OBC on. One thing I know of now that you CAN'T buy with OBC is a deposit on a Future Cruise. You need a credit card for that. Also, there may be some card game in the casino with a cash only buy-in. And if they do a fundraiser, like selling t-shirts to “save the reefs” and the like, expect to need cash for that. Otherwise, here you go: *Acupuncture *Airport transfers *Alcove Rental (some ships) *Apple products etc. and Ilounge classes *Art Auction Purchases *Babysitting *Barber Shop services *Behind the Scenes Tours *Beverages -- Alcoholic, carbonated soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas, bottled water — if not in your package, also beverages above your package limits *Bingo and Deal or No Deal *Bottles of wine *Casino *Chef’s Table *Corkage charged if you bring your own bottles of wine to the MDR *Duty free liquor and cigarettes *Extra cost entrees and other items in Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants *Extend Your Stay program *Fitness classes *Flowers *Gelato *Gift shop souvenirs, purses, watches, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, etc. *Gratuities, and extra gratuities *Guests dining with you in Luminae (applies to Suite Passengers only) *Guest entertainers' CD's and DVD's *Hair and nail salon *Hollywood hot glass experiences (some ships) *Internet if not in your package, also Internet upcharges *Laundry/pressing/drycleaning *Liquor Tasting events *Luggage Valet *Martini Flights *Medical Center purchases *Mini bar *Portrait photo sessions *Pay-per-view movies *Persian Gardens passes *Personal Training Sessions *Photos & cameras *Room service fees *Ryde spinning classes *Shore Excursions *Shuttle to town (some ports) *Spa -- massages and treatments *Specialty restaurants *Teeth Whitening *Telephone calls using ship's system *Transfer to another passenger's account *Voyage in Review DVD *Wine and liquor tastings *Zumba They will always use non-refundable OBC first, then refundable OBC, And if you run out of that then it goes on your credit card
  11. Museum? Historic houses? IMAX? Galleries? There’s more in Fort Lauderdale than meets the eye
  12. I am getting the same error message that there are no flights available no matter what date and itinerary I try so I guess it’s the dreaded phone call tomorrow. 😢🤪🤞
  13. There are dozens and dozens of posts on this topic. I was perfectly satisfied with the porthole verandah.
  14. I’m not sure you understand that the IV does not have a verandah. The flooring changes in one part of the room, that’s all. It’s all interior space with a folding room divider the porthole verandah staterooms consist of interior and exterior spaces separated by a sliding glass door.
  15. The first tenders will be filled with those on Celebrity shore excursions.
  16. One person can get tickets for both of you. There will undoubtedly be time for breakfast after you pick up the ticket and before your number is called. I wouldn’t count on being able to get off the ship ASAP because first the people who have celebrity excursions will get the earliest tenders. Then they will start calling tender numbers.
  17. The retreat Host could have taken care of that for you and even printed you a new SeaPass card
