  1. We have 2 daughters with celiac, we bring our own factory sealed food for excursions.
  2. Not all of our passport centers have cameras, and those that due seem to have them out of order a lot. Two of my other kids went to a post office out of town and when they got yo their appointment they were sent to staples.
  3. Because factory sealed food is okay, a ham sandwich is not.
  4. This is NCL’s BOGO program, it’s literally a discount program. Cheaper flights, NCL picks them, get flight information about 30 days before sailing. There is zero reason to use this offer unless it saves significant money, it’s not premium air. There have been numerous complaints in the board, the response is basically you get what you pay for. If your flight is late, the transfer will leave.
  5. Not if you took this air program, this isn’t premium air, it’s a discounted air ticket. Once it’s issues, it’s out of NCL’s hands. It would be the same situation as if the OP bought the ticket independently.
  6. My point is, a 17 and 19 year old are probably less likely to be problematic than 20 something’s who are probably enjoying a few drinks.
  7. To be fair, I’ve met folks decades away from their teens do the same. My 26 year old has his own apartment and also rents a share of a summer beach house right by the best NJ shore bars, 12 guys, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a kegerator.
  8. NCL is like an airline broker, they buy blocks of flights at a disco and pass on the savings. If they tried to modify the flight in would cost money. It would be the same if you changed the flight. Why are you flying in the same day? This isn’t premium air, which isn’t a discount program. I’m guessing there is a good reason departure time has changed.
  9. My daughters photo (from cvs) was not accepted so had to get it taken again.
  10. I’ve have 5 kids, 3 are college graduates, 1 in grad school, 2 still in undergrad. I’ve very familiar with kids these ages. Some of mine were in off campus housing at 19.Three flew overseas alone at 19. At 17 they were all traveling with friends without parents.
  11. Every NCL cruise we’ve been on has offered stuff a bag laundry mid cruise, I think it might be up to $35 a bag.
  12. I think if there is a fault, it lies with the medical center and not RCCL.
  13. I think it would be to late to add a passenger on boarding day.
  14. One thing I didn’t do for our first cruise, because I was clueless, was get travel insurance. Not only are cruises non refundable closer to sailing, but most US health insurance doesn’t work out of the country, which could be potentially financially devastating, especially if a medical flight is necessary. Just seeing a doctor on the ship is costly.
  15. They’re 17 and 19, old enough to go away to college. Heck my sister and her friends backpacked in Europe for 6 weeks after they graduated high school. They’re grown. Just go to guest services and get extra keys.
  16. I think you quoted the wrong person, I suggested Penn over EWR for these reasons.
  17. NCL contracts with private tour companies, I don’t think they have much say, except yo maybe cancel?
  18. Actually the airport is 10 miles and Penn station is 9.8 miles. Right now it will take one 7 extra minutes in an Uber to go from Penn to cape liberty, however I do believe it’s easier and faster to get to that Uber from Penn.
  19. I don’t know if NCL even monitors flights once they are booked.
  20. Another vote for Penn station (I’m local).
  21. It’s cape liberty, there is a port liberty in another location.
  22. This was the smoking section on our last cruise, in front of the bar that overlooked the pool. We don’t smoke but spent some time there because it was a great location.
  23. I wonder if NCL will cover the hotel. Once NCL provides flights, their job is done. If the airline makes changes, you need to work with them.
  24. Good to be optimistic. My mom’s mom made it to 91, COPD. My mom was a health nut, diet, exercise, cancer got her in 4 months at 72. All of their cared financially planning was based on her outliving my unhealthy dad (he had Alzheimer’s).
