I doubt it, although I was not able to use my birth certificate as a document when renewing my drivers license because I didn’t bring my marriage license.
Not really, when you book they explain an adult over 21 needs to be booked with a minor but everyone is free to sleep where they wish, and are instructed to go to guest services for extra keys. It’s definitely encouraged by the cruise lines.
NCL was excellent every time. Fill out the information before your cruise, I suggest going to a MDR for lunch after embarkment. You will be met by the dietary manager to go over things. My daughter order breakfast and dinner the night before, and just called before heading to a restaurant (we usually ate breakfast in the buffet). Her food was brought to her, and tons of choices. She ate lunch in the buffet and just asked about what was safe (usually with new friends so she didn’t want to preorder).
It depends, I drink wine and cocktails, so with a gratuity, my drinks are usually around $13 - $15 each, so I come out ahead after my second drink. Add soda, virgin drinks, and the ability to bring in unlimited bottles of wine, unless one really doesn’t drink it is a decent perk.
You really aren’t going to have a lot of extra time, you might be checking into your hotel at 9 if you want to stay in Manhattan. You want to be heading to the airport by noon on your departure day. Maybe find a nice hotel to have breakfast at that will hold your bags, you could muck around for an hour or so.
I don’t think you are going to enjoy your cruise. I’ve honestly never seen so many ore-cruise complaints from any poster. I don’t know if it’s just NCL that’s the issue, or cruising in general, but I do know that if you go into something expecting to be disappointed, that’s the most likely outcome.
I did misinterpret, I’m the opposite of a picky eater and want to try everything (love small plates restaurants), but I don’t have a large appetite, so I enjoy smaller portions (and will split them with family members who also aren’t picky -but my 5 kids are in their 20’s and can eat). No waste from us!
You should be good, we usually do early walkout and are usually off by 7:30. Once there was a custom agent shortage, got off at 10:30, after lining up at 6:30, called the company when we realized there was no way we’d be off in time.
What money, it’s all included in your fare. Cruise portions are much smaller than portions on land because they know people order more since in all included.
Free to order off of the ship wide kids menu, or they can order a la carte, I believe they’d be charged full price at a restaurant with a cover charge.
They cost around the same, if they fill the van about $5 pp. The water taxi waits until it is filled, a land taxi will fill faster. A land taxi takes you much closer.
