  1. I have never used essential oils so I went with the kit with the directions. Kind of like essential oils for dummies lol I knew not to just sniff the actual oil bottle but not what else to do, so this worked. I saw the original post, so responding to that. πŸ™‚
  2. They look like they have been pruned and are hoping for new growth. You would think they would cut them all the way down if they were completely dead. Very sad looking though.
  3. @NHProud I want to thank you for bringing up smell training and Covid. I was hesitant to try but I am glad I did. I started using the essential oils four weeks ago and have shown some improvement in both taste and smell. Still a long way to go but happy to actually enjoy smelling my hyacinths and tulips. I ended up buying a kit from the Smell Project. Amazon carries it cheaper than the projects website. There is another I saw from an organization called β€œabscent. I thought that one had a cute name lol. Their website had some really good videos for anyone going through loss of taste and smell. Thanks for being the β€œpush” I needed. πŸ˜€
  4. Did you notice who one of the guests was? They didn't mention him other than when they were going over the preference sheets but I noticed him once they boarded. It was Justin Guarini who was the runner-up on American Idol season one to Kelly Clarkson.
  5. I agree. I just tried to find the other post and it looks to have been pulled.
  6. Another forum is saying Tom Hopkins. Would be interested in knowing which as we sail soon.
  7. No, you get your arrival time when check in is available, 45 days prior to your cruise. Check in typically starts at midnight local time for the port of departure.
  8. I wish we could! We always cruise in May for our anniversary and a late birthday trip. Can't do June too this year since we have a family wedding to go to, so DH will need to take a day or two off because everyone is going to be in town. Our October Oasis sailing was really crowded too but we figured we would try again thinking it wouldn't be too bad since kids are still in school in the northeast. Well, our sailing has been sold out for weeks. Luckily, we splurged on a GS, so we will be able to hide in the SL and Coastal Kitchen or our balcony.
  9. Hopefully, someone will want to go. We love Bermuda. It would be good to have someone with you as support. We are doing Oasis again soon. It is sold out and roll call is lots of kids, so should be interesting. I am 0 for 2 on staying healthy on cruises since the restart, hopefully I break that streak!
  10. When we have been there, there were signs at the top and bottom of the ramp saying to stay off the ramp. There were also chains going across so people would use the stairs. I wonder when they started letting people use the ramp.
  11. Cafe at 270 is usually open disembarkation day too. We always grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches from there and take them back to our cabin and eat as we get ready to get off the ship.
  12. That has been our experience as well, WJ and MDR closed at 8:15 and 8:30 respectively. Cafe Promenade only open until 8:30, Park Cafe until 8:15.
  13. Is that child going to use a birth certificate instead of their passport?
  14. When you are in Ketchikan, there is a really cool store on Creek Street called Soho Coho. They carry artwork by an artist named Ray Troll and they sell some really eclectic tshirts. My son is a tshirt and jeans guy, as well as a Star Wars fan and we got him a Return of the Sockeye shirt, as well as a The Empire Strikes Bass shirt. Just really unique shirts if you have any tshirt lovers. Here is a link to their store. https://www.trollart.com/product-category/t-shirts/
  15. The MLR team he was with had a lot of guys from his club team and some international guys that they sponsored. The coach from his club team was the original coach but once they found some financial backing, they brought in a much better coach and a lot of international players, including new props. My son could have stayed on to be with a practice squad that just got beat up on a regular basis but he chose to stick with his real job as an engineer since the money they were offering was not worth the continual beatings. The international talent they brought in got decent contracts and the team now has a lot of sponsors and the whole organization has come a long way. He is happy that he got to do what he did but it was the right choice to step back. He has also coached in a youth program and also as a front row coach at the high school level.
  16. My son has been playing rugby since his freshman year in high school and is still playing at 32. He played one year in the MLR for a team that was in its provisional year before joining the league. I wish he would start playing for the old boys but he isn’t ready to step back just yet. He currently is playing prop but played hooker in high school and college.
  17. Travel Passes work in port, not on the ship. We have used them for years when we cruise. The app will work on the ship by just connecting to Royal wifi. Put your phone in airplane mode and then connect to wifi. You will then be able to use the free chat function in the app, though it isn't very good, and also access the compass and make reservations etc. If you need internet access or want to call or message off the ship, you will need to buy a Voom package. Verizon does have a cruise plan again but it has very minimal data, like 50mb, and isn't worth the money in my opinion.
  18. Just be really careful with your electric blanket. I know they told my Dad not to use one. I know everyone is different and my Dad had a bunch of medical issues but it was his neurologist who said not to use it. πŸ™‚
