  1. That is no longer the case. It is now water only.
  2. I am on Oasis now and El Loco Fresh has been open all week. No idea if it’s closing in June. There have been two hot tubs that were closed due to resurfacing. One has reopened but the other is still surrounded by plastic.
  3. We are on Oasis now and wow bands are available at guest services. I have seen many people wearing them.
  4. On Oasis now, garage is handicapped parking. We were directed to a lot across from garage. The lots filled quickly and those arriving later were having issues finding parking and were being sent in circles according to posts on a different forum.
  5. Captain said we’re picking up pilot at 4am and should be setting lines at 6am, so not delayed.
  6. Captain said yesterday we should arrive on schedule. Captains corner is this morning, I am sure someone will ask.
  7. Too funny, we are also on deck 8 and have eaten the majority of our meals on deck 17.
  8. Brainiac fishing boat anchored in the channel. Captain had to sound horn to get it to move.
  9. Yup turning around now. Crowded in port today. We were the sixth ship here.
  10. It is our fourth medical emergency of the week. We had two go off in ambulances when we came into port Canaveral earlier in the week. We left Nassau late yesterday because someone had to be taken off right as we were due to leave. Only supposed to be here in port Canaveral for a short time but already here longer than expected.
  11. On Oasis headed to Port Canaveral with a medical emergency. Doing 23.4 knots. Didn’t hear an alpha call on this one but did hear alpha calls on the two that were taken off by ambulance in Port Canaveral on the way down from Bayonne. First time I heard them call alpha and come immediately. Hope all get the care they need.
  12. We are in Port Canaveral tomorrow, then Coco Cay and Nassau. Not a great itinerary but we just wanted to get away for our anniversary and my birthday. We will go again in November for DH birthday. We usually visit my Mom when we go into Port Canaveral but she isn’t going down to her house down here so we are headed there tomorrow to bring back some stuff she wants. Cheaper for us to get stuff instead of my brother shipping stuff up.
  13. We are Oasis out of Cape Liberty. It’s the first sailing from up here for the summer season. It deadheaded up so boarding started before 10 and cabins were available when we boarded. Luggage was delivered before noon.
  14. No, hibachi sells out and there is limited space on the tables. I would book 7 now if it is available.
  15. You can check in at midnight local time of the departure port, 45 days prior to sailing.
  16. You get a cup that has an RFID chip in the base that activates the machine. There used to be a time limit between fills but there hasn't been one on our last cruises. The machines have a lot of different flavors that are not available from the soda gun at bars. Lots of different sugar free flavors which is important to my diabetic DH. Unlimited San Pellegrino is why I get the refreshment package as I will have three of the little bottles at dinner alone and those go for about $4 each last I checked. Add at least one mocha a day, fresh squeezed OJ with breakfast, a couple of still waters and a soda or two and it is worth it for me.
  17. We usually get the refreshment package because our vouchers are more than enough alcoholic drinks for us but we like soda, water and specialty coffees. We do not like the coffee from the machine in the DL, we prefer the specialty coffee from Cafe Lattetudes, especially mochas which the DL machine does not make. That is the lowest I have seen the refreshment package lately. Haven't sailed Grandeur but it is on the list of ships with freestyle machines, so that would be a huge plus for my diet root beer loving DH. Refreshment covers both still and sparkling water, so I always drink San Pellegrino with meals, instead of ship water. I would buy a refreshment at that price if I was sailing that ship. 🙂
  18. Brilliance docks at a different pier than Quantum. Quantum docks at the railroad dock aft which is directly below where the rock slides have been. The aft berth can be used but the passengers have to walk the forward part of the pier where the slide hit. Passengers were tendered later in the season last year but it is a slow process.
  19. I heard from the concierge this morning, there are still the normal 11-11 drinks, so I will be all set. I knew a lot have sailed Oasis recently, so I asked here too after emailing the concierge. I drink a lot of water too but I try to avoid the ships water. We will have the loyalty waters too and the welcome aboard water a suite gets, so I should be well hydrated! 😄
  20. Thanks. It is actually the soda and water that I am wondering about. I did not get a refreshment package since I was going to just get bottled water in the SL. DH got a refreshment because he lives on the diet root beer in the Freestyle machine plus he likes mochas. We never use all of our vouchers, so I was just going to use one voucher for my daily mocha. It isn't a deal breaker for us, I can just stock up on water bottles during happy hour if necessary. I was just cheaping out and not buying a refreshment package this time and now it is $10/day more than what we paid for his. I am going to wait and see what the concierge says and maybe I just buy a case of water.
  21. In the past, it has been 11-11 beer, wine, soda and water. I will have to see if I have a prior email to compare. We were on Oasis in October but we booked a balcony on that cruise since they were so cheap. We haven't sailed in an Oasis class suite since before covid. We have been doing Quantum class suites most recently.
