I just booked a cruise yesterday for next month, I’m trying to enter the booking in the app but it’s saying booking not found. I was hoping someone might know how I can fix it? I’ve tried deleting & reinstalling the app but no luck. I also have someone at Princess working on it and they’ll call me back in a few days. I really just want to order my medallion and maybe make dining reservations. Thank you.

If you don't have a good excuse for not booking it then, don't leave it to chance, just book it if that's the cabin you really want. It will avoid all the stress of the bidding process and you can just sit back, relax and look forward to your cruise already knowing you have the cabin you want. Have a great cruise!

Keep in mind, insurance is not only if you have to cancel your cruise, it also covers you for medical expenses if you get sick or injured while on the cruise. The cruise line medical coverage amounts are very low, by shopping other plans, you get far more coverage for either the same or less cost. It also covers trip interruption and loss/delayed luggage as well as medical evacuation.

Much better coverage for less money getting your own from Insuremytrip or Squaremouth. I never get my insurance from the cruise lines.

I remember when it first started as the George Lopez Comedy Sea Day Brunch or something like that and they would have the comedian on board go in, walk around the dining room and do a short comedy act. The comedians always looked so “ thrilled “ to be there. 🙄

One night they had 'Grilled Radicchio' as a side dish. That was actually terrible, very bitter and I thought, why just why would they do that? I like it in a salad along with other greens but as a side, by itself is just awful.

The YouTube couple called ParodeeJay, are on this sailing now and always do daily videos of their cruises so the first day is on there already. You can follow along that way which is what I'll be doing.

My dad who was 84 at the time went on that cruise solo and had such a good time. He had conversations around the ship with several of the cast members. I'm so happy he got to experience that. ETA: He didn't think he was going to clear the wait list at 116 but he did. We were all shocked.

In the mornings, they did offer coffee & tea beverages but I don't know if they were exotic teas.

Just off the Sapphire a couple of days ago and checked out that area for my brother's grandkids and a possible future cruise with them and the sign on the door to The Beach House said 13-17, which would not have worked out because one of them is 12YO. ETA: I would not rely on customer service for accurate information, as another poster said, they tell you what you want to hear.

No point in going if your wife is going to be scared. That's not any fun. I understand people's hesitation about Mexico. One thing to keep in mind, the ships won't call on any port where the danger is really high. Quite a few years ago, they stopped going to Mazatlan & Acapulco for a while for that very reason. With that being said, I just got back yesterday from a 10 day cruise to Mexico, walked around Cabo without worry. I walked around Loreto by myself for a few hours and everyone was so warm & welcoming. We missed the call to Puerto Vallarta due to hurricane Orlene and went to San Diego instead. Took the train to Old Town and I was scared the whole 10 minute ride. Very sketchy people on the train, I really thought I was going to get robbed. Everyone has to do or not do with what they are comfortable with. Have fun with whatever you decide.

While there are issues with the ship for sure that really are impacting some guests such as AC/toilet issues, which there is no excuse for, the staff/crew has been wonderful and I’m having a good time. The ship just wasn’t ready in my opinion. I think I’m going to take a break from Princess for a while. Really want to try Celebrity. I hope your cruise goes without any issues and you have a wonderful time.

When walking on the promenade deck this morning, on one side there was water everywhere, some of the pipes from deck 8 are leaking. There was a huge leak at the entrance to Wheelhouse bar and on deck 10 for the first few days of the cruise. They were replacing the carpet on deck 10 this morning. Was dining in Vivaldi last night and parts of the floor are very soft, I’ve never experienced that before.

I’m on the ship too and everything that baggr42 is saying is accurate. My brother and his wife had toilet issues/hot water issues as well. My neighbor next door had to shower in a nearby cabin because they couldn’t get hot water for a few days. Many restrooms around the ship are not working. Make sure to check your onboard account daily because there are many charges that are incorrect. Have to go to guest services every day to remove charges. The staff are all wonderful and the cruise is great but I don’t think the ship was ready for passengers.

I’m not sure but I just boarded the Sapphire from LA for a 10 day Mexico cruise. I’m fully vaccinated as of April/May 2021 with my one booster in November of 2021 and had no problems boarding with that.

Exactly this. It turned out OK, it was very easy. We had our Uber driver take us to 46 and they handled everything there. We did und up just bringing our bags with us on the ship. Apparently there were no shuttles to take people that were leaving their cars and no one there knew anything about it is what I heard from someone in the roll call. They ended up taking a cab. It was actually a very easy embarkation but only because we got dropped off. Princess failed on this one though.
