  1. We were on Oasis the week prior to you guys and also had approx 6700 guests on board. We ate in MDR and Windjammer. We had our son and 3 of his kids, ages 6, 4, 2 in our party. The crew in both the MDR and Windjammer were kind and attentive given our craziness. Ha. We had never been on a cruise before with very little children and it was quite different and exhausting, but fun. Thanks for your review @mac_tlc
  2. We have a lot of young relatives who want no part of checks. Another funny thing.... one of our sons when he graduated from university was clueless as to how to purchase a postage stamp.
  3. At least the owner shows he definitely makes business decisions! 😉 PS We are also booked for the Greenland cruise. Should be interesting. Wish there were a few more excursions.
  4. Just off Oasis of the Seas (July 28 - August 4). Hope all of you are well. This was a very different cruise for us as we went with our older son and 3 of his children ages 6, 4, and 2. We came home quite exhausted. Ha. But we all had a good time. My husband and I typically do a bit of lounging around and there was none of that! Constant activity ... pools, slides, rock-climbing, mini-golf, ice skating, carousel, Aqua 80 and Frozen in Time shows ... and more. It was definitely the most crowded cruise we were ever on with almost 6700 guests. We went to the beach (Cocoa Beach) at Port Canaveral and Blue Lagoon at Nassau. Other stop was Coco Cay. Weather was good, but hot as expected. Best to all of you. 🏖️ 🚢
  5. We have a couple coming up this year also. Hope you have a great time.
  6. I don't take it as hate. Disagreement, bluntly stated, perhaps. Life is too short! Best to all. Happy cruising.
  7. @firefly333 is a woman. She supports multiple cruise lines and is entitled to her opinions. Personally, I prefer milk in my coffee. 😉☕ Happy cruising to all of you.
  8. Is there a RC excursion to JVD that you can take? That is what we did. Others book private excursions/boats and hopefully someone else can comment about that. I hope you can visit. We hope to get back there. Adios to Jost (as Kenny sings). 😉🎸
  9. Good day to all. It is 71 degrees F and beautiful weather in Northern New Jersey. I am looking at this clear blue sky..
  10. We went there. It was not crowded, however I think it might be busier now (we went there on one of the early post-Covid cruises). We enjoyed it but if you don't have a full day, it does not seem worth it. On some cruises you don't get to Nassau until 1pm. It does not include any food/drinks.
  11. We loved this show on Liberty. We actually avoid many of the RC shows, but found this one outstanding. I think your question has been answered pretty accurately by @alfaeric
  12. We do an annual plan as well ... if you have USAA, they offer it thru Travel Insured International. Our concern is medical/evac. We will risk the price of the cruise.
  13. My personal opinion... they would likely appreciate a little extra cash even if it is $5 extra vs. candy or anything else.
  14. Interesting. I also lived and worked in various boroughs and that was not my experience. Who knows. Different times, different experiences. Best to you.
  15. I grew up in Queens and we called Manhattan "the city" as well. I think that was pretty universal outside Manhattan.
  16. In a recent experience, 75 days prior.
  17. View from Piermont NY this evening, 4th of July. Tappan Zee Bridge in distance. ❤️🤍💙 Best to ALL!
  18. Please let us know what you experience. Enjoy your cruise!
  19. From Wikipedia: Daisy Jones & the Six follows "a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most famous bands in the world and explores the reason behind their split at the height of their success."[5][6][7][8][9] The Amazon Prime Video series is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's book of the same name, which the author describes was partly inspired by her experience growing up and by watching Fleetwood Mac performances on television.
  20. We have been blessed with a 5th grandchild. Grandchildren are ages 6 years, 4 years, almost 2 years, 7 months, and our brand new grandson. 💙 We are cruising with one of our sons and 3 of his children in late July .... should be interesting. 😉
  21. We have only been on one Carnival ship, Horizon. It was quite new and fun with a lot of complimentary food options. We will consider the Venezia.
