Is there a RC excursion to JVD that you can take? That is what we did. Others book private excursions/boats and hopefully someone else can comment about that. I hope you can visit. We hope to get back there. Adios to Jost (as Kenny sings). ππΈ

We went there. It was not crowded, however I think it might be busier now (we went there on one of the early post-Covid cruises). We enjoyed it but if you don't have a full day, it does not seem worth it. On some cruises you don't get to Nassau until 1pm. It does not include any food/drinks.

"Saturday Night Fever" on Liberty Question
mets07 replied to broadwaybaby123's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We loved this show on Liberty. We actually avoid many of the RC shows, but found this one outstanding. I think your question has been answered pretty accurately by @alfaeric -
We do an annual plan as well ... if you have USAA, they offer it thru Travel Insured International. Our concern is medical/evac. We will risk the price of the cruise.
-
My personal opinion... they would likely appreciate a little extra cash even if it is $5 extra vs. candy or anything else.

From Wikipedia: Daisy Jones & the Six follows "a rock band in the 1970s from their rise in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most famous bands in the world and explores the reason behind their split at the height of their success."[5][6][7][8][9] The Amazon Prime Video series is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's book of the same name, which the author describes was partly inspired by her experience growing up and by watching Fleetwood Mac performances on television.

I don't care if they wear flip flops or flats or high heels or sneakers (I am a woman). Just relating my experience with flip flops, which was scary.

I could care less what everyone else wears. However, I will agree flip flops can be dangerous. I caught one on a stair at home, fell (flew) about 6 steps, struck my head on the hardwood floor at the bottom of the stairs. Got a nice deep slit in my head above my eyebrow. Hello Emergency Room and plastic surgeon. So, move cautiously. π π©΄π©΄

We have had the haze from the Canadian wilderness fires for a few days (we are in Northern New Jersey about 18 miles from midtown Manhattan), but this is the first evening we actually are smelling it. Crazy strong right now. Hopefully it is not too bad up North. β€οΈto our Canadian friends. We have Air Quality Alerts ongoing from our Weather apps .... "Levels of fine particulates will rise into unhealthy for sensitive groups category statewide today and Wednesday and likely last into the evening hours both days due to wildfire smoke transport from eastern Canadian wildfires."

I don't remember having to show the invitation for many years. And plenty of seats. Although not specifically invited, I don't think there is any issue. Enjoy.

You can either just show up during the allotted MTD hours without a reservation or choose a specific time within the allotted hours and make a reservation. Reservations can be made in advance in the Cruise Planner. If the time slot you want is not available, go to the Main Dining Room as soon as you get on board. There should be someone at the MDR to assist with reservations, questions, etc. I doubt you will have any problem getting 8pm. You can also get on the waiting list for the late dining. Maybe you are already. Enjoy!

My mistake. And I was only on the ship earlier this month. π -
Is Liberty of the Sea too big???

Hi, we have been on bigger and smaller ships. We did like Liberty. Particularly enjoyed the show "Grease," the ice show, the heliport/helipad area, and the Viking Crown lounge. Enjoy!! -
OK. It was the opposite on my cruise and I can understand why some were offended. I hid in the back and did not stay long.
