And this includes things you wouldn't expect. For example, you cannot bring your personal CPAP machine into Japan without authorization. The auth is easy to get, but it's somehting very few people would even think about. I never even knew about it until someone posted in our Roll Call.
The value is personal. The beverage package price only really applies if you would drink enough to hit that amount. If you only have one or two drinks per day, it doesn't pay.
That would most definitely not be the issue. Debarking in Victoria would mean the PVSA doesn't even apply because you're no longer departing and arriving at a U.S. port.
Then the entire cruise would not be legal (unless thery substituted another Canadian port).
And on the flip side, Fine Cut was substandard on our Apex trip, while I have a friend who just reported that Fine Cut was excellent on Beyond.

We generally get mini-suites unless there's a huge sail on full suites. The size difference between a mini-suite and a balcony is greater than the difference between a suite and a mini-suite. I like the extra space of a suite, but as an Elite, I don't find the full suite benefits to be worth the extra money since a lot of them are duplicated by status benefits anyway.
You get the minibar regardless of status.
