    We’re on the last night of our first YC cruise on the Fantasia. I have to say that YC beats Retreat in every respect. It’s not even close. I’m now seriously considering canceling our future Celebrity cruises if I can just find itineraries I like.

    That makes no sense. There is no longer any distinction between RCL and Celebrity, so they should be treated the same.

    That's all because Cunard chefs do not know how to prepare beef. We were in Verandah once and the chef recommended Medium Well - a big sign that the chef has never cooked (and possibly never eaten) a decent steak in his life.

    There definitely was, because we were booked on what was supposed to be the second cruise in March.

    I've never done it, but your only choice is Air Canada to YUL. Pascan used to fly to YHB, but I don't see it on the schedule anymore.

    No, the first setback was moving the maiden voyage from January to March. Then it was moved to May. So this is at least the third setback.

    To me, Family Style is a lot of yelling and throwing of food.

    They were dropping off and picking up right at the door last fall.

    No, it's because they have no intention of even trying to go there. That means a zero percent chance even if the weather is perfect.

    As far as I can tell, they only include the West Peninsula. I don't see any offerings that include the Weddell Sea.

    Every cruise line, hotel, and airline loyalty program works the same way. That's the way the game is played.

    It's even better when you arrive at your home port. We love cruises that end in Vancouver.

    Québec - Saguenay - (Charlottetown) - Sydney - (Halifax - Bar Harbour) - Boston - Brooklyn - Newport - Boston - Portland - Saint John - Halifax - Sydney - Charlottetown - Québec The parenthesized ports are ones we had to skip because of Hurricane Juan. We basically ran to shelter in Boston Harbour for three days to wait it out.

    Or take the train. Much more comfortable. I'm glad they're doing Boston. I have no desire to ever go to either New York or New Jersey.

    It's not oddball if that's CCL's fiscal year end. (Note I don't know what their fiscal year is, but most companies use something other than the calendar year.)
