  1. Were you on short cruises ? The lobster tail was on the 3rd gala night of our 14 day cruise in September/October.
  2. It will be very similar, the deck plans of the 2 ships are almost the same.
  3. This is 4014 on Queen Victoria
  4. It's quite a long way forward so you might get noise from the bow thrusters when docking and the theatre during performances and rehearsals. On the other hand these balconies are much bigger than those on higher decks although this one will have a metal front. There's a link to a photograph of a Deck 4 balcony in this thread.
  5. That's not the number that people are talking about in this thread.
  6. Unfortunately you need to be in Queens Grill to get Welcome champagne, Princess Grill gets Sparkling Wine. At least you can take your own on board if you want the real thing.
  7. This is the most general board https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/forum/69-ask-a-cruise-question/
  8. There was lobster tail on Queen Victoria last October.
  9. That's very good to hear, thanks for posting.
  10. The itinerary change was discussed here I'm not sure the changes in Singapore are related.
  11. You asked about the process on you changover day, I guess I thought you wanted to know how you would change cabins, get your new keys etc ?
  12. Thanks, that's the list I was thinking of. Shuttles were included in Valencia last year though so it's not totally reliable.
  13. There is usually a shuttle unless you are in the centre of the town. There used to be a list on the Cunard website but I can't find it now. If you post your ports someone will probably know.
  14. I'm a fan of the Deck 4 balcony cabins as well although very far forward can be noisy from the bow thrusters.
  15. This sounds like a nightmare for everyone, thanks for the updates and I hope there is a better outcome next season. Have a great trip even if it's not the one you'd planned.
  16. There's some discussion in this thread about the journey between Southampton and Dover, what date are you travelling?
  17. That's going to be a rush, have you already booked the ferry ? I would recommend a later time if possible.
  18. My memory isn't that good but it happens fairly regularly in Europe.
  19. Where the port needs a shuttle to exit the docks it will be free of charge for all passengers. Otherwise cruise cards will be scanned and accounts charged if you're in the cheaper fare Congratulations on choosing Cunard for your honeymoon, we book both types of fares but usually only if the Saver is much cheaper.
  20. Welcome back, I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip.
  21. There is some feedback on open dining in this thread which may be useful
