  1. We've only sailed Azamara once but our Azamazing evening was Sorrento. We didn't attend so I can't comment on how the tendering worked.
  2. Sorry to hear you had to cancel, that must have been very disappointing. Can you claim on your travel insurance for your deposit ?
  3. It varies by device, location on ship and the ship's position. Queen Victoria has been crossing Atlantic where most ships have difficulty. Hope it improves for you by the time you can stop paying for it.
  4. These were offered in 2019 when we there on Queen Elizabeth. We had an overnight stay so there were 2 days worth of excursions.
  5. Some tables may agree a time, others won't. We shared a table with a couple who liked to eat early so we often arrived when they were having dessert or coffee. It worked more like a table of 4 than 6. Lots of people eat elsewhere for breakfast and lunch, there's no awkwardness, the staff are used to it.
  6. It's lovely to see Carmel looking so well, I'm glad your Covid experience was mild @alc13. Enjoy your trip planning. We've had a few heavy frosts this week but no snow, only a few flakes one afternoon. It's nice that there's still some light in the sky when I get home from work these days.
  7. I'm not sure why you think a reasonable request is playing silly games but fortunately the majority of people do register or follow their allocated times.
  8. I think we went off piste once someone mentioned monks ! At least the OP had some useful answers
  9. Must be used differently on the other side of the Atlantic, I'm pretty sure all dresses could be frocks here.
  10. I make the bookings, his last letter is A, mine is H. Our first 2 letters and first number are the same but the rest of our numbers are different.
  11. Ours are 2 letters, 5 digits and a single letter !
  12. I think @bluemarble did a count when the deck plans were first published but I can't find the thread 🤦‍♀️
  13. And I asked for some peppermint tea bags and was told they were available from the buffet!
  14. And there is lots of choice of herbal tea bags at the Buffet if you want something different than the ones provided.
  15. There's some discussion about the Deck 3 cabins in this thread
  16. There's a lot of clanking when passengers and crew get back on board in Gibraltar!
  17. Details of the other packages are here https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/activity-types/bars-and-lounges/a-world-of-drinks
  18. That's what it says but we've not had a package so I don't have any first hand experience. We like a drink but we'd struggle to get value out of it on a port intensive cruise. We just pay as we go.
  19. Gratuities are currently $11.50 per day in Britannia. There are various packages, the most comprehensive is - Beers, Wines & Spirits Option Adults $70 per day Our most comprehensive selection, the Beers, Wines & Spirits Option, includes most alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as a wide variety of speciality hot drinks up to $12 per serving, as well as all the benefits of the Premium Non-Alcoholic Drinks Option. Includes: > An incredible array of beers, spirits, liqueurs, cocktails and wines by the glass > Unlimited soft drinks and fruit juices, mocktails and small bottles of mineral water (500ml) > Unlimited speciality coffees, teas, and hot chocolates >20% discount on any drinks not included in the Beers, Wines, & Spirits Option
  20. No luck, I've never heard of anyone having anything confiscated.
  21. You might want to post your more detailed questions on the Cunard board.
  22. The OP's question was about the condition of the ship.
