    Azamara Air

It's not unusual for flights not to be ticketed. They most likely created two separate bookings as sometimes it's cheaper than a round trip or open jaw ticket. If they happen to have bulk air on the return flight, you may not be ticketed until 30 days before the flight.
  5. not true in the US, higher than most cruise lines
  6. We have used our OBC many times to purchase the indulgence package when we've stayed in a Club Continent suite. It does only really make sense on a longer cruise, though.
  7. We booked a club continent for 2025 and were required to pay a 2200.00 suite deposit, which is new. Always been 1100.00 for a CC before the changeover
  8. No problem at all, even upgrading after final is doable.
  9. It really is dependent on so many factors! We have raised our pp/pd threshold because we really love the Azamara product and feel it’s worth the higher per diem. We’re sold now on the CC or higher staterooms
  10. We booked this for 2024 on the Quest.
  11. Unfortunate, isn't it? It would be nice if there was consistency.
  12. I hope you don't mind me chiming in here- I've spoken to a friend that works in the Miami office; there has been no change to the refund policy, so just 75.00pp cancelation fee before final payment.
  13. From the Azamara website, use the Booked Guests tab. You can view all of the packages from there. Azamara Circle tab will take you to where you can view the Discoverer level benefits.
  14. From the website: Cruise Payment & Cancellation Terms | Azamara Cruises The Terms and Conditions for the promotion make no mention of the deposit being nonrefundable
  15. They totally have a refundable deposit except for 75.00 pp.
  16. because it is a new promotion, not just a drop in price, it is normal to have to rebook. Here in the US, it is just a portion of the deposit; I don't know how it's handled in Portugal.
  17. Excursions always go up in price the closer you get to your sail date, on all cruise lines, especially for tours that are popular.
  18. Most agents I know use the online booking engine, no need spending hours on the phone to book clients.
  19. Horrible on their part then! The agents I know have absolutely no problems booking Azamara since transitioning.
  20. not disorganized at all! The day before the first cruise ends, there will be a meeting for all b2b guests. at that time, you'll receive your new key card and be able to make any dining reservations you want and also buy your beverage package if you like. The next morning, you'll be asked to go to security at the door and check out with your old card; at that time, you'll activate your new card. Let the desk know that you need to do it as early as possible in order to meet your tour. They've always been very accomodating for us 🙂
  21. Thank you for sharing this, as I'm sure there are many stressed guests who didn't receive it 🙂
  22. Kevin, were you actually able to cancel it? You never did report back. Wasn't this the cruise that you chose to change the cruise date instead of take the refund when it was first offered?
  23. If you read back about his refund, I don't know if he was able to cancel it because of his booking circumstances.
  24. I think your agent is incorrect in saying that they can't speak directly to their BDM. Unless they are talking about their specific head of office where they work. BDM's are there to assist all agents in their territory. I'm sorry to hear that they won't step up for you
  25. That's as it's supposed to be in the US also. If it's booked through an agent, the agent is the only one to have contact regarding the booking itself.
