  1. The benefit can be applied to any cruise you have all ready booked. Apply no earlier than 3 months before sailing date and no later than 21 days before. Brian
  2. The coach is free but you need to book it so P&O know how many they need to cater for. There will be many coaches going to Manchester airport, maybe ten or more. Don’t know how many would have wheelchair access. Suggest you request it when you book. Brian
  3. I was amazed how quick my application went today. Timeline…. 1131 email sent 1132 received auto confirmation of email receipt 1141P&O email received confirming credit and said they would send to my TA 1201 email from my TA confirming the credit and issued a revised invoice. So 30 mins from start to finish Brian
  4. I have not been there myself but others say the oil museum is very good for kids. https://www.norskolje.museum.no/en/home/children-and-youth/ Brian
  5. Problem now resolved. Out of the blue I received an email from my travel agent enclosing the same form. This one works, Don't understand what is happening here. I went back to the original one from P&O and it is still not working Brian
  6. Leave you luggage labels on. Put your luggage outside your cabin in the evening, usually before midnight but could be earlier. Your luggage is taken off the ship and transferred to the baggage hall where it is placed in deck order. There are baggage trolleys available as you enter the hall so collect one to put your luggage on. Porters are available if needed. Proceed out of the baggage hall via the red or green channel to your car/coach/taxi Brian
  7. I have received an on board questionnaire from P&O for my upcoming cruise. I have downloaded the form with no problem but it will not let me edit it to put anything in the boxes as requested. What am I doing wrong. There must be a simple solution Brian
  8. Parking4cruises are usually more expensive on short cruises (7 days or less). On longer cruises they win hands down. Brian
  9. In the past we have done some Eastern Med cruises round trip from Southampton. Usually 18 days. Ports visited include Cyprus, Israel and Port Said. - not on the same cruise. Brian
  10. Don’t go to York without visiting the National Railway Museum located just behind the railway station. Admission is free. Agree that Betty’s is worth a visit. There is always a queue to get in but it moves quite fast. Brian
  11. You need to worry about UK customs though Brian
  12. For 2 adults and 2 children it will cost £12 each way. It’s probably cheaper to take a taxi or not much difference. Brian
  13. If you are on Iona or Arvia, then they are fully freedom dining. Brbian
  14. It looks like you have reached the limit of your child’s age group. Try a dummy booking for one adult and one child in a cabin. If the child limit is reached then it should stop you booking this. If your children are in different age groups you may have to repeat for each one. Brian
  15. In Tenerife take the tram to the old capital of La Laguna, high up in the mountains. You can buy a ticket at any tram stop using cash or credit card. Validate your ticket on the tram The fare is €1.35 each way and it takes around 30 mins. You can catch the tram at Fundacion, about a 10 min walk from the port. Look for the tram going up hill to La Trinidad, which is the Main Street in La Laguna. Take an extra layer of clothing as there is a distinct temperature change due to altitude. If you like shopping, on the way back, get off at the penultimate stop of Teatro Guimera and walk down the main shopping street back to the port https://metrotenerife.com/routes-and-timetables/ Brian
  16. Some details here https://www.pocruises.com/onboard-activities/dining/the-chefs-table Brian
  17. Aurora was the largest P&O ship when launched and about twice the size of Titanic so not particularly small. Aurora has a small ratio of balconies compared to Ventura which makes these more expensive. Other benefits are a crows nest located at the front and a wrap around promenade deck with no steps and, as previously mentioned, a terraced stern which sheltered from the wind and very sunny when sailing north. Brian
  18. Don’t d forget that the Epicurean restaurant is only available at breakfast for guests in suites. No amount of money will get lesser mortals in. Brian
  19. Main dining room menus from Brittania posted here. I would imagine that Ventura will be pretty much the same Brian
  20. Try this https://www.poamericas.com Brian
  21. A further report today in the Times. This time it’s about Iona which is reported to have had similar problems around the Christmas dinner. When I started reading the report today i thought it was the same report from yesterday but then realised it was about Iona. Brian
  22. I have been using it for around 20 years and still using it. It is an excellent program for keeping track of accounts and investments. If anyone knows of an up to date program that does everything that Money does I would like to know. Brian
