  1. It is one medallion for one, two, three or whatever the number may be on b2bs. They are all linked together no matter if there is a single booking number or multiple booking numbers. Same with the on board accounts. They are all linked with one final invoice on disembarkation day. This was my experience in Feb/March 2024 b2bs and has been on all my prior b2bs with the medallion and prior to the medallion with the cruise card.
  2. Full suite passengers receive laundry service which I believe is 24 hour. https://origin-www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/ships/PrincessSuite_eFlyer.pdf What kind of spa services are you referencing? If you are thinking about the Thermal Suite that is available to full suite passengers on specific ships, basically the older Grand Class and Coral Class ships, not the Royal Class and new Sun Class. If you are on the Sun Princess it has the sanctuary collection cabins with special amenities. If you are thinking about spa fitness class they are attached to the plus and premier fares and not to the cabin.
  3. Where was this pier? I went through the blue lane this past Feb. in Ft. Lauderdale. It took less than 5 minutes. There was no separation between blue and green lanes prior to entering the terminal and going through security. The separation was after clearing security. I would suggest if you have walking/standing issues that you notify Princess before hand. They have special procedures for those that have difficulty. Regarding the b2b. If the turn around is at a U.S. port then there will be an immigration process for those doing the b2b. One other bit of information. On my b2b the medallion's battery went weak. Passenger services provided me with a new one.
  4. I have been on just under 50 Princess cruises. Plus fare or paying by the drink, I don't ever remember an issue that I would consider inconvenient, underhanded or cheating regarding alcoholic beverages while the ship was in port. It is basically a non issue. There are 56 posts here. Time to close this discussion.
  5. Where are you looking? Mine show on the web under Log In My Account My Profile Circle Savings Future Cruise Credits
  6. It is the App. It is very poorly designed. Clearly two separate cruises, not back to back. Do you have a PVP or a T.A.? If yes, work through them. They have better contacts. The answer customer service provided as you are aware is not an acceptable answer, if you do not wish to have walk in dining. You have some time. Maybe you should write, not email, to the President of Princess, John Padgett. He will not get the letter, but his staff will most likely handle it. Why write? Because if you email it will get buried in the list of thousands of emails. UI have something similar going on with my b2b Jan/Feb 2025 cruises. The app will not allow me to make dining reservation on the 1st one, gives error message.
  7. Crazy or not that is the way the Sanctuary works on Grand Class ships. I have read on these boards that on some have been able to pre-book the Sanctuary on some ships using the app. Maybe someone can confirm. On the new Sun Princess there is a selection of cabins across a number of higher level categories which are called the Sanctuary Collection. If you book one of these cabins you have access to a sanctuary plus other benefits such as special DRs. Outdoor areas that will be fairly quiet are the Terrace Pool area, and the seating around the Lotus Spa Pool providing that it still remains open to all. Skywalker's Nightclub indoors will be very quiet during the day. It is all the way back and all the way up. There may possibly be a smoking area within this lounge. During pool weather days Crooners Bar is also quiet. Many people sit there and read. The Wheelhouse Bar will also be quiet most of the time. There may be some daytime activities scheduled there. The Diamond sails in Asia where culture and smoking are different than the U.S.
  8. I would assume that if the issue every came up Princess would address it with some sort of limit while in CA ports. I don't know if ever offered in CA, but I have been to events where the cost includes both food and open bar.
  9. Post 18. I don't see how Princess' plus and premier packages are contrary to the CA regulations you posted. Not below cost Not free Not lowering of prices, the price is fixed Not unlimited, limit of 15 drinks/day Not selling drink specials. Price limits are set at $15 and $20 from standard menu price lists.
  10. Sales? I never recall seeing much. I think I recall $1 deposits, but not certain.
  11. This is solid advice when crowded. I have found on the Grand Class ships, such as the Diamond, that during crowded times tables are normally available in the aft seating areas as well as on the aft terrace by the Terrace Pool and in the indoor pool area.
  12. I was on the Caribbean a few years back. I don't actually remember how it was used at that time. Maybe the stored some extra towels there. Way back when the ships were first launched it was a station where they sold things like sunscreen and other pool related items.
  13. In Feb/Mar 2025 I cruised to western, eastern and southern Caribbean ports from Ft. Lauderdale with the plus fare. I remained on board at most ports. There was never an issue asking for alcoholic beverages with the plus fare. There is less staffing since less passengers are on board. There is a single issue that I am aware of for sailings out of Galveston, TX. Texas laws require that any alcohol served while in Texas waters must be from stock purchased in Texas. It is may understand that until the ship is out to sea alcoholic beverages are limited.
  14. Regarding eating breakfast in the cabin. In my opinion it's a place to just eat to fill yourself for breakfast. It's not a dining experience. There is a small low table inside and another on the balcony. Mini suite balconies are 9ft x 6ft and not covered. The buffet does not really have a line. You just walk in to the serving area and go to the breakfast items you wish to have. For example if you wish to have fruit and a bowl of cereal then you go there, select what you wish and walk out. You can carry your food to a table or back to your cabin. Juice, tea and coffee are served at the tables. Coffee and tea are also self served anytime of the day or evening. There are tables both in the mid and aft sections of the buffet. You can also select to eat by the indoor pool which is forward of the buffet area, or by the Terrace Pool which is aft of the buffet. There will be a wait if you wish to have a made to order omelet. You place your order and once prepared the waiter will deliver to you. During busy periods both the port and starboard sides of the buffet are in operation. The buffet is open from 5am until late evening. It never closes during that time. I sometimes visit later in the evening for some fruit such as pineapple.
  15. Additional dining information which I did not see mentioned. With the premier fare package you have complimentary access to unlimited specialty and casual dining. I'm not exactly certain regarding the Diamond Princess, but here goes. Specialty dining is The Brazilian Grill and Sabatini's. Casual dining is Alfredo's and Kai Sushi. These may have changed or others may have been added. Casual dining is just walk in. Specialty dining fills up and basically requires a reservation. You can make these reservations on line in advance. When reserving I have read that your credit card is charged. I have also read that when you board you can obtain a refund at passenger services in the form of refundable OBC. Maybe someone else can comment on the exact process.
  16. I'm pleased to see that Princess brought back the name "Princess Patter." It's a classic from the beginning of Princess. I was on the Ruby in Feb 2024. One of the comments I made on the survey was to bring back the name. I will be back on the Ruby in January/February, 2025.
  17. I was on the Ruby this past Feb and will be on again this coming Feb. I like the design of this ship vs the newer Royal Class ships. Dining: visit the maitre'd on boarding day. There should be a time posted either on the app or you can inquire in the DR. One DR will be open for lunch on boarding day from noon until 1:30. You can also call Princess about the dining if you just booked direct in the app or on line, or you can contact a PVP or agent if you booked that way. Entertainment: The piano entertainer you mention is the Crooner's Lounge entertainer. He will have multiple sets each evening. Crooner's is a very popular location for pre-dinner drinks as well as in the evening. There will also be a party band as well as other musicians. There will be production shows and guest entertainers each evening in the theater. There probably will be a comedian on board performing in the theater and most likely in one of the lounges. Other activities will include trivia, silly games, demos, art sales ( which I stay away from), karaoke and more. Pools and hot tubs will be open. There will be movies on the large screen every day. When you get closer to the sailing date your activities on the app will populate. For now focus on trying to get your dining worked out.
  18. I will mention that the plus package is required for the first two passengers in the cabin. It is optional for the third, the child. That's the policy. I can't advise how to get around the poorly designed programs. If you are using an agent they can do it for you. You can wait until you board and then purchase on boarding day.
  19. This thread is from 2018. But, if you are questioning the weather the answer is generally the same no matter when and what west coast port you depart from. The 1st 2 to 3 days are generally cool and the seas can be choppy. Once the ship crosses the Tropic of Cancer weather usually turns tropical.
  20. *Go to cruisetimetables.com. Select the port you want. You will find a listing of ships that stop there. Then work backwards to find the sailing. * Go to the Princess site. Select Western Caribbean cruises to find cruises that may stop at Grand Cayman. Look for cruises longer than 7 days for cruises that stop in the ABC islands or Panama Canal cruises. *On the Princess.com website just enter the months you wish to cruise and the destination as the Caribbean. They all come up. Then just scan the port stops.
  21. If you do not have success it is also possible to purchase the plus package when you board on day 1
  22. Oh, this is new. Was no laugh lounge this past February/March.
  23. With the casino option you must play. You can't just cash out like an ATM. After you play a while then you can cash out with either more than you started with or less. You can ply slots or table games.
