  1. Agree. I would ask the CD or ass't CD's regarding the premier seating for production shows. These are the ones that are ushers for these shows.
  2. Premier reserved seating is for production shows only, not other shows. I think what you are asking is if there are reserved spaces for those with scooters and the premier package in the back of the theater. I have not been on the Regal. I can tell you that on the Ruby I did not see what you mention.
  3. Probability of reaching 85F (30C) is not very high. More like 25C (75F) on a good day along the coast.
  4. I would head to San Pedro and stay at the Double Tree or Crown Plaza. There are also some nice hotels in Long Beach about 30 minutes away.
  5. This past March on the Ruby the journey view appeared in the app about 7 to 10 days out. I think it all depends on the Entertainment and Cruise Directors how soon the schedule appears.
  6. You will receive one mini bar per ship's voyage, not booking number. If your voyage is a true 14 day voyage, like a 14 day circle the Caribbean or a 14 day trans Atlantic then you will receive one mini bar. If your voyage is two 7 day b2bs then you will receive one mini bar on boarding and another on turn around day. It does not matter how you booked with a single booking number or two separate booking numbers.
  7. I would say ok to the two cabins mentioned. There are cabins above and below and interior cabins directly across the hall. I don't know exactly what the blank areas are. Typically some space is housekeeping storage.
  8. Probably similar to your weather. You have to be prepared for cool days and cool nights with layered clothing, as well as warm days. In C maybe 10 overnight, 15 evenings, 20 to 25 daytime. Don't forget the rain jacket. It is hurricane season when hurricanes and tropical storms can run up the coast from the tropics. If you encounter one expect rough waters and warmish temps.
  9. Princess Platinum insurance is indeed a cancel for any reason plan. It provides 100% in future cruise credits. You would have to check further for exact details. It appears that your situation is a cancel for covered reason. You would have to check with Princess or Aon about the exact terms. You should have a copy of the Princess Protection Policy that was sent to you by e-mail. You probably will have to review all the details and boring fine print. Regarding your questions about replacing passengers in the cabin you really have to speak with Princess. If booked via a T.A. or CVP go through them. I do think if you booked directly the normal customer service staff probably would have difficulty helping you, but you may be forced to contact them.
  10. Casino probably will not allow cigar smoking. If the Sun follows other Princess ships, which I expect it does, smoking will be allowed at a select area of slots while playing. No smoking at table games.
  11. Is your Princess contact in Southampton, UK? If so I would give them a call.
  12. I don't think you can set up when off the ship. There were instructions in the cabin. Took a few minutes. Like the previous post mentioned. Set device to airplane mode. Turn wifi back on. Select medallion net. You are done.
  13. Linked accounts have to use the same credit card. 30 drinks in a day? Excessive alcohol drinking can happen with or without an inclusive fare. It's self management. That's why bar staff do have the ability not to serve you if they see abusive behavior.
  14. If the two or more accounts are linked then there is a separate on board folio for each individual and a summary invoice. If one has a credit balance and the other a debit balance the two will off set to one total balance. This is for all on board spending. I don't believe there is a way to link the plus or premier benefits together right now. They are individual. If one person has 20 alcoholic and the other five you really have to manually manage this situation.
  15. Just off the Ruby, 24 days b2b. As elite I receive free laundry. The total cost for one person was $163. Princess charges your account and then credits you back so you can see the charges. I also sent in a bunch of laundry late in the cruise, about $50 worth, so that I would have clean clothing when I returned home. That's something I would not do if I was actually paying. I think the cost may be something that can be budgeted. Three plus weeks around $150/pp does not seem like a super large amount if you really don't wish to do your own. Elite laundry turn around time varies by the number of elites on board. On this cruise turn around time was 48 hours. I have seen it up to 72 hours.
  16. I have never seen a bag of laundry special on any of my almost 50 Princess cruises. Laundry service is by the piece. All Princess ships have self service laundromats on each deck. It is $3 wash $3 dry. Tokens available in the vending machine purchased with your medallion. You can also purchase detergent and dryer sheets, but many bring their own. Those with elite loyalty status and those in full suites are entitled to free laundry service.
  17. Same width on Royal Class ships. Don't know about the new Sun which has a different design.
  18. I was on the Ruby in March this year. Area on Promenade deck aft starboard remains. There were a few chairs there. Deck 16 above the Neptune's Reef pool by the Tradewinds bar. Seats, tables and some cover there. I never got up to Skywalker's so can't comment. Casino remains the same, except there are no longer smoke free evenings. Cigarette smoking at some port side slots while playing. No smoking at table games. The Speakeasy lounge is no longer there. It has been turned into an arcade. No cigar lounge anywhere on board. No smoking in any cabin or on any balcony.
  19. One more point. You post from B.C. Assume you have Canadian passport. If you have a passport from a different country you have to check those requirements.
  20. Morocco requirement: "Must have at least six months of validity at time of entry" Here it is. You need to meet this requirement when you board. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Morocco.html/
  21. I would renew your passports. Why risk it. Check the passport requirements as well as visa requirements for the countries you will be visiting. You have to first get into Italy, What are their requirements when you land at the airport? Then Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Spain again and Cape Verde Islands. Princess has to enforce all requirements of all countries. If one of those countries has visa and 6 month requirements at the time of entry then Princess will not allow you to board without meeting those requirements. You have to meet all requirements even if you do not go ashore.
