Luminae menus after the most recent update in August 2023?
Cruise a holic replied to tjunmin's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Edge class has the most specialty options. We would take different dining packages for thirty fdays. Probably 3 10 day b/3/bs. M class less specialty options. S class especially silhouette and reflection, more options -

Luminae menus after the most recent update in August 2023?
Cruise a holic replied to tjunmin's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We found luminae food to be good- but definately prefer the specialty restaurants. We still manage to overeat and gain weight as I am sure many people do! More then enough choices and food to eat! -
We were on the Edge when it was just a few weeks old. Had a wonderful experience- I would suggest that you try the Apex or Beyond- Newer ships. The apex was perhaps the best cruise we have ever taken. Ship beautiful! The suite lounge and pool deck wonderful. Staff 5 star service. Loved the specialty restaurants, especially Eden. We will try the beyond. We like newish ships on Celebrity and Royal. We also sailed on the summit and enjoyed the cruise- no frills, but good service.

Following. Love the Silly. Sailing on her in January! The lawn club grill is our favorite restaurant. Enjoy the Martini bar also. Counting the days! Enjoy your cruise and thank you for sharing. -

IMO the only real move would be to a Royal Suite- but I wouldn't even consider an additional $1500. pp. All rates above are pp!

Have never sailed on the Beyond, but was on the Apex b/2/b in January- It was perhaps the best celebrity cruise we have taken- we have taken many 35 celebrity cruises. Don't miss Eden.

Suite Lounge Adventure OTS compared to Serenade OTS
Cruise a holic replied to TJA27's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Having sailed at least 25 times on Royal, I must say the old ships like the adventure of the seas, lack the amenities of the newer ships. The oasis class and newer ships have wonderful suite lounges and decks. A big difference. I will not sail on any old Royal ship again. -
Wearing the same shoes day and night not very healthy. Best to change up your shoes- another reason not to stay in sneakers.

I heard two american tourists have been taken as hostages.

So sad ðŸ˜.

I do not get why an adult would have a problem dressing? Your DH should invest in a pair of light loafer shoes-called drivers. They are even more comfortable then sneakers. He should bring a couple of pairs of pants also. I understand many people no longer fit into their old clothes due to the covid( "15 +) - but if you shop smart- you can purchase for a small price. Pants can be very light weight and comfortable. Enjoy your cruise. Flip flops are dangerous, and very bad for your feet- leave them home. I fell on a cruise ship years ago and broke my foot.

I wish the people of Israel win the war quickly! So important for them to be safe and secure.

Sky suite benefits for family in other rooms
Cruise a holic replied to Sirv's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You should consider two grand suites- everyone in our party would have access to the suite benefits. While it will cost more- do three in Grand suite 1, and two in grand suite two How you decided to sleep is your business, but all will be entitled to suite benefits which are great on the Oasis class ships. -
So sad . Israel is a wonderful place to visit.

It is amazing! Soon we will pay for all food and entertainment. The mission for these cruise lines is to increase profits. Shame! Royal has made cococay a money pit!

Concierge class staterooms on Reflections question
Cruise a holic replied to DimSum's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It will be tight. Minimal storage, small bathroom. I would try to move up. When my family travels with teens, they get a balcony cabin and the kids get a inside across the hall. Works for them
