Yes, but CC only available for dinner- However, time and dates may not work for you. Do not count on CC for dinner nightly. The best thing about a Jr. Suite is the size of the cabin. Otherwise a well located balcony cabin with an unlimited dining plan, is a more worthwhile option. That is my opinion. We book full suites as we enjoy all of the suite perks.

Coco Cay Beach Club Cabana's
Cruise a holic replied to Gitana's topic in Royal Caribbean International
IMO not worth it. So overpriced. Better to just enjoy the island- If you are adults only, the adult beach was excellent and that IMO was well worth the price- typically between 59-79 dollars- pp, depending on the ship and sale- I would purchase asap then change if the rate comes down- I believe kids over 16 can also come- but check the ages if you have teens. If not- the entire Island has great food options, tons of seating included in your fare. Enjoy. -
Icon - Coastal Kitchen - Jr Suite
Cruise a holic replied to fwman's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We sailed on the icon in a suite. However in answer to your question about reservations, as soon as you board speak to the restaurant concierge at the costal kitchen and she will make your reservations. Of course the time and date will be based on availability. Enjoy your cruise. -
We loved the apex. We sailed in a sky suite and the suite perks, deck, retreat lounge and costal kitchen were perfect. Cannot wait to sail on her sister ships! Glad you had a great cruise.

We each take a large piece of luggage, One suit and dress garment bag to share, each a carry on- I also take a back pack as a handbag. We like choice and want to be prepared for all types of weather. We use laundry service, but only for under garments, including socks, cheap tee shirts and other items- we wash our swim suits by hand. Enjoy choice. We once went in an escape room and we were with a man who smelled horribly. Please make sure you clean your clothes. They do pick up body odor even if they appear clean.

We also had to walk out of shows as no seats were available- sat on steps sometimes. We had to come in at least 1/2 hour before shows. Hope the new theatres have much more seating- And couldn't use the Casino's as they were so smokey.

We were in a princess suite and had to pay a daily or weekly rate for the sanctuary. Should be a suite deck. I remember no adult pool. Maybe newer ships now have along with a suite lounge included in the suite fare and a suite restaurant.

RoyalUp Program worth the stress?
Cruise a holic replied to GSgolden11's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We bid sometimes and have gotten some great deals- mostly on celebrity. On royal, bid from a balcony to a Jr. suite on the Adventure- but the suite was very tired . Hope the ship gets an upgrade as the ship needs it badly. Supply and demand! If you are sailing a holiday week- or on a new ship- not great odds- but good luck to you.. -
Empire supper club on icon
Cruise a holic replied to colesc15's topic in Royal Caribbean International
why? Food good- Don't you enjoy table service. I find at buffets we overeat- and do not like the idea of many people, who might not practice proper hygiene pick up utensil, start eating with their fingers, then pick up another utensil to put more food it their plate- makes me nauseous. Yuk -
Empire supper club on icon

Have dined at the Chef's table and it was horrible- had to dine after- a true waste of money. Empire supper club looks interesting- however the menu is primarily seafood- so if you do not like seafood- don't go. And the price! Considering you have paid for dinner in the MDR price crazy. -

Coastal Kitchen reservations on ICON
Cruise a holic replied to Treacher1's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On the Icon in March in an surfside family suite- what a disappointment. However we had the all inclusive unlimited dining plan and only ate breakfast and lunch in coastal kitchen- found it too dark and glad we didn't have dinner in their. We will stick to Oasis ships- crown loft suites. Icon class not for everyone- -
We are elite plus on celebrity and diamond plus on Royal. We have sailed three times on Princess, and the ships, service and food do not compare to Celebrity or Royal. We consider Princess on par with Carnival and NCL- not for us.

Quick Live Report from Beyond April 12-22
Cruise a holic replied to RK-NC's topic in Celebrity Cruises
My DH and I "try" to watch ourselves as so much food is available. However, we typically gain 3-5 pounds when we sail! When we get home, we work hard to loose the extra weight! Seems to get more difficult as we age. -
I am a senior and unfortunately do not have lush thick hair anymore- I use a curling iron sometimes and get my hair styled a couple of times on the cruise at the salon. However, my teenage granddaughters with very long thick hair use the Dyson hair straighten at home and love it. On a ship, they bring their own hair blower and regular hair straightener.

The laundry is fine- we get some free laundry- we never give anything "special" to the ship for laundry. Just underwear, tee shirts, socks and pj's. Swim suits we hand wash. Have used the dry cleaning for good items without any problem. We also try to bring enough clothes for the week or two. Would rather pay for extra luggage then have any problems regarding lack of clothes for the cruise.

Aqua Theater Suite or Owners Suite on Harmony?
Cruise a holic replied to avatar133's topic in Royal Caribbean International
My DH and I are hooked on the Crown loft suites. Not sure if the Aqua theatre suite has two bathrooms- that is great for us as we can get dressed and ready at the same time. Also as previously stated the location is the best. Definately not the owners suite. -
Revamp of C&A tiers? Cruises getting expensive!
Cruise a holic replied to nolegirl01's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Recently off the Icon of the Seas- huge ship- expensive and it appeared full. The rich are getting richer and will continue to pay the crazy high rates- I do not believe that the fares will come down. The cabins on the new ships seem smaller. Just lots more glitz. -
Does RCCL offer pre-cruise laundry packages?
Cruise a holic replied to KyleClark's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If you and the person you sail with is also a D+ member each get a bag of laundry per cruise -
