  1. I would be very upset if you quit posting just because part of your trip has taken you on a different line, it's still part of your journey and I've really enjoyed hearing from you daily. I'm so glad it's a long adventure!
  2. Looks like you are going to be having some lovely food! Makes up for the lack of casino:)
  3. Maybe you can pick a day to get transportation and get "out" - find something you want to see or do and take Mom out for the day.
  4. I wonder how much "early flights" had to do with disembarkation. Love the Vista, so glad you had a great time. Our next 4 are Vista havana cabanas, we love them.
  5. Seems way too early for dinner! I'm really struggling with your time change🙃
  6. For me it's not enjoyable to go on a premier or elite cruise. I get the invites, then avoid those cruises. I enjoy my time in the casino but I really don't enjoy it when it's overly crowded.
  7. We've had OV a few times, it was absolutely fine. But I spend a ton of time on the balcony and it is always our preference.
  8. I can so relate!! I have the exact same issue with DH. My first solo cruise was amazing😆 What a difference not having to coordinate/compromise LOL I've done a few more and it spoiled me now. Still happy when he goes with me though.
  9. Less crowded at Half Moon Cay on the Magic than the Vista!
  10. I fell in love with ramen when I lived in Okinawa. I know most people think it's a cheap pack of noodles.... maybe so, but it is so much more. Yours looks amazing.
  11. There really are no "free" cruises, there is cost one way or another. Even a comped casino cabin you pay taxes fees and gratuities, not to mention the money they made off you in the casino. Besides, it's not like suite guests get more points because they spent more on their cabin vs an inside guest. So money doesn't even factor into it.
  12. I just realized how much longer your journey is, and want to thank you again for sharing. Hope your new roommate doesn't snore. 😀
  13. That is part of the space center beach. When DH worked at the space center, we used to fish there all the time. It's lovely.
  14. I don't think you understand the facts. They get your address from the credit card you used. They purchase amazon prime with it, then they send you packages. It's not from your account.
  15. Well, since you didn't actually purchase it, that doesn't help. When I reported the packages to Amazon they didn't give me much information at all, got more info from the driver they sent to pick them up. Probably too hard for folks to figure out unless you are a scammer.
  16. Funny. We were packing for debarkation one trip. I said I can't get this suitcase zipped. DH, who never hears me, says wear the bathrobe home 😆 Oddly, 90% of cruises I lose weight.
  17. Ever since they changed the teas and started charging for the flavors, I started bringing my own. I pack it anyway, so not a big deal.
  18. I'm not really sure unless they were putting claims in on misdelivered packages. They had also charged an additional prime membership to my card. Scammers find a way.
  19. Well I agree with you. I have a couple experiences with my credit card getting hacked in port, and it was NOT all dismissed by the CC company in one case. In another, I started receiving hundreds of Amazon packages and I never figured out how that scam was working but the Amazon guy that picked up all the packages (after contacting them to figure it out) said it happens frequently (they also had put through another Prime subscription). One of those happened in Costa Maya, the other at Mahogany Bay. We take enough cash for drinks or small purchases and a credit card not to be used unless we have a true emergency, like missing the ship for some reason. Honestly, we don't spend much in port anymore - after a while, seen that done that sets in.
