  1. We're on Apex right now in a Sky Suite. Drinks, internet, and butler are all included and I believe every ship has Luminae which is the suite dining room. Almost forgot to mention the suite lounge and sundeck also. It's called the Retreat.
  2. We’re D+ so we could always got to the D Lounge. It’s just that our last cruise was on Serenade in a GS and we still had to buy internet and a drink package. We’ve been full suite cruisers for years but some times we end up in the D Lounge anyway depending on the ship. We’d still sail full suite on the Oasis Class.
  3. We're embarking on experimenting with junior suites for nonOasis class ships. It seems like it may be more cost effective to book and then buy the drink, WIFI, and dining package. We'll see.
  4. Same on Serenade. We were on her last month and they had just let D+ back in.
  5. It's been so long since we sailed a Freedom Class does anyone recall if hump JS balconies are any larger than others on Independence?
  6. Thanks. We're on her now. Day 3 and we got the layout. Still an occasional wrong turn here and there but that's what learning a new class is all about...LOL.
  7. We've done both Marriott Downtown and Embassey Suites Downtown. A little pricey but convenient to the River Walk and Sparkmans Wharf as well as the cruise port.
  8. Four years ago we were doing a Royal to Celebrity side to side cruise except they moved the Celebrity ship from Everglades to Miami after we booked. We were mislead by a Royal concierge that if we took a tour, the bus would drop us at Port of Miami. Once the bus emptied out at Miami airport the driver said he was going back to Ft. Lauderdale. Probably should have known better but we grabbed a taxi to the port. Not recommending it but it makes for a funny story. Normally we would just use Uber XL.
  9. Thank you. I thought 12 was all cabins so I kept looking for it on 15 and 16 on the deck plans.
  10. We were on Serenade last week and were told suite guests had to meet in the dining room by 8:10am to be walked off. Around 7:45am on our way there they announced walk-offs, suite guests, and Key guests were welcome to leave the ship. The luggage areas were marked appropriately.
  11. If we're booked direct we pay a few days early. If something were to go wrong then it's on us. If we're booked with a TA we schedule payment through them. If something goes wrong they own it.
  12. We're not WJ regulars but the times we've had dinner there usually it was below half capacity and there was no need to make announcements. I have no problem with the MDR food but the noise level in there reminds me of Wright's Farm (Rhode Islander reference).
  13. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Wishing your wife a speedy recovery.
  14. Didn't even realize that was the Singapore Site. It was first up when I Googled it.
  15. They upped them. Even more confusing. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/sgp/en/crown-anchor-society/balcony-and-suites-chart?country=SGP
  16. Sorry this happened to you. If you've never had a Royal landside screw-up you then you're lucky. Fortunately their ship experience makes up for their landside screw ups most of the time.
  17. We've been told by a whiskey connoisseur that the supply chain disruption is with the bottle companies. They haven't been able to produce enough bottles.
  18. We do both. It depends on what the TA is offering.
  19. Searched but didn't see this article posted. Spanish Police Arrest Three for Scamming Casino on World’s Largest Cruise Ship
