I have a few "other lines" booked, so the next Princess for us would be Fall 2025. As long as the FCD are automatically fully refundable, that's a no brainer. Thanks for all the help!

My first Princess cruise is in a couple of weeks. If I love it....is there any benefit of booking a future cruise while on board?

If you don't care about the space of the cabin, or storage...YC Interior is the best value at sea. It takes about 1 minute to use the dedicated elevator up to the pool deck.

For $8.50 I'll skip it.

When you order pizza thru OceanNow....do you get a slice or a pie? If a pie, what size.... personal pizza size, or enuf to share?

@Dock BI has the same results. I think my friend was very lucky...got a knowledgeable rep. With the senior discount you can book "the day before" and get the same discount as the status discount, which needs to be done 6 months before sailing!

I don't know. My friend didn't ask for it, or demand it. She simply called to ask the status of her "match" and was told they didn't have a record of receiving it...so the rep offered her the senior discount. I know my friend; she isn't making this up.

Based on my advice, my friend booked YC thru an agent. The agent really is not familiar with MSC and doesn't like to work with them. Anyway, I told my friend, based on her NCL status, that MSC would status match and give her a discount. She applied for the status match, and in true MSC fashion, did not hear back. So, she called, and after mentioning YC...the rep told her she was entitled to a 10% senior discount (which she got). She still didn't hear about the status match. Does anyone else know about this senior discount? We're talking American...not any other country's rules.

So, another question.... In my research it says that you can locate another person by using the app/medallion...... My husband has a tendency to wander off....and then gets mad at me for some reason....so I end up staying stationery (ie....I can't change machines in the casino...because he won't be able to locate me). This location feature sounds ideal. How does it work? Is it simple to use (he's technologically challenged).

Ok....now this is a really serious question. I have a sweet tooth. One could say that I'm a chocoholic. Being entitled to 2 "special dessets" a day....I was initially excited. But I did my homework....and they look like a heart attack waiting to happen. Will "the dessert place" give you just a plain cup of ice cream with a topping?

Another question...I got the Plus package. On the OceanNow delivery menu there a few things with a small surcharge. Is the surcharge waived with the Plus package?

First time on Princess...Island Princess 6/25 to be exact I have a few questions/confirmations etc In room toiletries.....according to the website, we are supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Please confirm...and if so, do they replenish as needed? I'm not fussy....just don't want to bring unnecessary bottles and tubes. Embarkation....according to the website, we just need the medallion. Do they send us documentation...as to arrival time and address of the port? Casino.....on every other cruise, one needs a room key card to play. How about on Princess? Do I scan the medallion or something? Can I charge the money to my cabin? If so, is there a fee? If I think of more, I'll add to this thread!

Well...I did it myself. I called 3 other agents and each one came up with a price higher than Princess??? TA wasn't saving me that much and I didn't want to lose the cabin. Expect a bunch of "stupid questions" from me for the next 4 weeks!

There's one cabin left on the deck/category I want. Being a holiday weekend....my TA is MIA. I've read all these threads about calling Princess directly and getting the promotions dept. What is the correct number so I have a chance of a knowledgeable person? Or, is it safer to just book on line? I'm superstitious....hope this isn't an omen.

I looked this up and I can't find the answer...... They bring food to you anywhere on the ship? Is this from a special menu? Any menu? I assume you tip the person who delivers......or is that included (since daily service charge is included with the package)?
