  1. Way above my pay grade. All I know is I give our luggage to the porters and magically it appears at our stateroom.
  2. You are way over thinking this.
  3. The question about printing off luggage tags in color has been asked many times on this forum and the RC forum. The answers are always printing luggage tags in color isn't a requirement. I plan on printing our luggage tags (first time for that cruising with Celebrity) in color for our September cruise on the Summit. If color and zone are all that important then all the more reasons for Celebrity to snail mail everyone luggage tags. Most important thing on the luggage tag is the stateroom number.
  4. I would have thought the porters used the self adhesive types (like the one Celebrity use to mail us). That way all they need is a sharpie.
  5. Nice catch. And I know you guys cruise for the pleasure and enjoyment. Making the different tier levels after paying for them is a great bonus.
  6. I don't expect you or others to agree with me. I also read others experiences and opinions, concerning their cruises and respect that. But no way would I use others opinions, experiences as a deciding factor to or not to book a cruise line, itinerary or stateroom. One persons ceiling is another person floor. Good luck with your decision.
  7. Your assumption is wrong. I've never asked nor have I ever referred to the sticky's about ships and staterooms. Took our first cruise in 1991. No CC, didn't know anyone that cruised. The TA we used made no recommendations. We booked what we thought was good for us. Great cruise. Been booking all our cruises the same way. No regrets with the cruise lines, ships, staterooms, dining venues, food selections or intinaries we have selected. Way too many arguing opinions/experiences here on CC for me. That's why I never offer my opinion. I don't expect you or others to agree with me. Whatever works for you, great. To each their own.
  8. We would never book a cruise line, ship, stateroom category or itinerary based on others positive or negative opinions or experiences.
  9. I won't even blame spell check for that. That's all me. Sounds political. 😂 I'll correct that to read, pinnacle envy.
  10. I would have countered their rude comment with one of my own and called back. It's one thing for Celebrity to get cheap and not mail our luggage tags out to us anymore but no excuse not to have them ready to print at the 30 day mark. I prefer to have the luggage tags before leaving our house so I can put them on our luggage prior to leaving the pre cruise hotel.
  11. No experience yet, but I would complete the requirement on the 17th.
  12. For us the Statue of Liberty and the To the Struggle Against World Terrorism (AKA Tear Drop Memorial, Tear of Grief) is always a highlight leaving from Bayonne.
  13. They are nice. We've got a couple of them from Celebrity. Never used them as my phone stays in the safe.
  14. That would have been great on our March Explorer cruise so the rest of us didn't have to keep hearing the reminder over and over...
  15. And it all depends on the CC host for that cruise.
  16. Yep. I've got the AriveCAN app down loaded and have started filling it out. That's my understanding also. But I wanted to hear it from others.
  17. Have your sister check her RC C&A tier level and call Celebrity's CC (1-800-760-0654) to ensure her RC tier level is recognized by Celebrity and given a Celebrity CC number. I believe the unwritten CC policy is no fraternizing with lower tier levels. 😂
  18. If your sister is diamond or above with RC then she will be elite on Celebrity. In the same stateroom with Celebrity she will receive limited (not all elite perks/benefits) CC perks/benefits but will not be elite.
  19. You must be thinking Celebrity. The DL did and is doing the C&A HH from 5 to 8 PM every evening. Snacks are served and your drinks go against the allotted amount for your tier level loaded on your SaePass card.
