I don't see why you wouldn't be under the current CAS requirements.

We plan on heading up to the Sky Lounge before heading down to the MDR. As long as service is good in the SL at that time we'll continue go go there in the evening for predinner drinks. Less people is good.

Thanks. We no longer have any Albertsons nearby. When we did our last the tests at Walgreens. We took the test in our car and they Emailed the test results to us in less than 30 minutes. I printed off the results and put them with our passports and covid vaccination cards. I also use the app. They no longer do the Rapid NAAT test for free. $130.00 P/P. Bummer.

Our experiences on the first evening is wait in line (directed by the staff member at the podium at the entrance to the MDR) to be escorted. Traditional. Maybe you don't need to (?). Funny thing is we always end up escorting the staff member to our table as we know exactly where the table is while he/she is trying to find it by the table number. 😁

You runners are great. We have always been the ones cheering you on and throwing whatever the team needs from the cheap seats. Still brings a huge smile to my face thinking about our past Quests. Never gets dull and never the same. Even when it's the same challenges. Even on B2B cruises. It's the all about the different people that get caught up in the moment of Quest.

Bon Voyage. 🍻 The first evening for TD we waited in line less than five minutes due to the staff escorting us to our table (traditional for the first evening). All other evenings we walked right in, sat down and order drinks. We always prefer a two top. So when we first board the ship we go directly to the MDR (TD or MTD) and find a couple of tables we like. We ask if they are available and if so we select out first choice and would like that table for entire cruise. Been doing this for years.

MTD on the Explorer in March was a cluster. We had early (6:00) TD and when leaving the MDR the line for MTD (didn't start until 7:15) went back to studio B. Glad we switched to early TD prior to our sail date.

You got lucky then even in 2019. We've had a $1.00 of NRD OBC left on our onboard account and Celebrity didn't refund that.

I have considered eMed. Do you know if we both can use the same email address for the eMed tests and can we take the tests consecutively or does the second person have to log in? Last cruise we used Walgreens for the Raid NAAT antigen tests and it was free for travel. The test is no longer free. Bummer.

Not a recommendation or suggestion. Call the evening what ever they want, MDR for us.

But we do need to change a lot of the current changes, but that's getting political and I'm going to shut up about that. Speaking of cruises, I now have to decide on how to do our pre cruise covid testing for September. We hope that is not the new norm and that requirement goes away!

I won't even ask my Magic 8 Ball that one. I (we) hope we aren't living the new norm. There's a lot of things in our life we enjoy we hope to still have in the following years. Time will tell. I'm still going to wear my rose colored glasses and my wine glass is always going to be full. Sometimes we have to vent and then adjust accordingly and move on.
