The last one we went to was bad enough that we skipped the second one (March Explorer B2B cruise). Impossible to get a different drink if you didn't want the imitation champagne. Also a lot of chaos from others (talking, bawling kids) while the staff members were speaking. First time we ever left early.
Not our experience. We did a B2B cruise on the Explorer in March and the Cruise Compass was delivered each evening as in the past during our turn down service.
When it comes to policy changes, I will always wait until I hear from the cruise line for our specific cruise. I consider CC and other sources a heads-up but...
Tag or no tag, if our luggage didn't make it I would head to the airlines missing luggage dept and let them know and tell them all the info for the pre cruise hotel. Also the cruise line, ship, sail date. time and the embarkation port details.
We've stayed there a few times. Good location, rooms are ok, enjoyed the managers evening HH and a good breakfast in the morning. We'd stay there again.
The good news is clothes steamers and clothes irons are not allowed. The even better news is you won't look any less wrinkled than the rest of us. Well at least your clothes. 😁
No recommendations from Celebrity. Even if they did as you say Disney does I wouldn't do it. We never fly in the day of the cruise. I always remove the airline tags and put our Celebrity tags in the plastic holders secured with the braided wire on our luggage at the hotel prior to heading over to the cruise terminal. We also have our own personal tags (Celebrity leather tags from when we first paid and joined the Captains Club) with all our contact info. Also all our contact info is inside our luggage.
