That how know we didn't as I look at the receipt when signing for our drinks. Pre covid cruises. No biggie if we do get charged.

We never had to wait to get a drink (beer, wine or whatever we wanted) when we first boarded the ship pre shut down and post shut down.

I agree. Our experience on our Explorer B2B cruise in March MTD didn't start until 7:15. We switched to TD early (6:00 PM) prior to our sail date because of the later adjusted start time for MTD. Glad we did. The lines for MTD were crazy long on both legs when we were leaving the MDR. Nothing like it was pre covid cruises.

How many years ago? VCL is adjacent to the DL (deck 14) and that's the only bar/lounge I remember. The Crypt was located on decks 3 and 4.

You missed the boat to reserve your preferred time. Two lines. One for reservations and one for no reservations.

That's why it's important to know the policy for the cruise line you are cruising with and not the cruise line you have sailed with if different. RC and Celebrity are part of the RCG and each have different policies.

That's up to the sommelier. Yes if the person bringing the wine is willing to share the bottle with the rest of the table. Of course there is no corkage fee for bringing wine onboard (BP or not) and opening it in your stateroom and drinking it there or pouring a glass and taking the glass of wine in any other venue.

Tier level and concierge class means squat. The 1:00 PM time you selected on the app isn't when you board the ship, it's when you are to arrive at the embarkation terminal for the check in process.

I had a very similar experience on the Equinox March 2018. First leg of our B2B cruise, first evening of the cruise I wore shorts into the MDR (SD) (like I always do on the first evening). We were greeted and escorted to our table. As we were leaving the Maitre D discreetly asked to speak with us. He quietly advised me each evening going forward shorts would not be allowed in the MDR in the evening, IAW Celebrity's published dress code guidelines. No problem as I wouldn't think of wearing shorts and my wife wouldn't allow it. We all laughed about it. Second leg first evening I wore shorts into the MDR. As we were leaving the Maitre D spotted us and gave us two thumbs up and a have a great second cruise. I don't buy into the staff, especially the Maitre D is intimated by guests not following the simple published dress code.

No problem then. Isn't that what Celebrity hands us (or use to) when we first board the ship. 🥂
