  1. In descriptions it says it's a 14 minute walk from the hotel to the airport, so should be easy. I was researching an Athens cruise and figured I'd would take the Acropolis tour that drops at the airport and then find my way there and fly out the following morning.
  2. Sound like something I'd do. I've used cruise transfers to get to the Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow where we stayed prior to an early flight the following morning. IS the Sofitel a hotel attached to the airport?
  3. I think the part many people miss is actually keying the dollar amount to be used. If you have $400 OBC and want to purchase an excursion for $196.98, then you have to check the box and key 196.98 in the box and it will apply the OBC and your total will say 0.00 due and nothing is charged to your card.
  4. Yes, open on embarkation day. I think Vibe was open 8-8 and the bar was open 9-6.
  5. No this would be in violation of PVSA, Celebrity would not allow it.
  6. 75 minute massage while in port is between $159-199 plus gratuity.
  7. We stayed in the equivalent room on the opposite side on the Edge. The window cleaning machine was parked next to our room. Due to the IV it didn‘t obstruct our view, but every time they washed the windows they had to come in our room to release the apparatus that holds it in place while sailing. Very intrusive and the room got hot just having the window open for a few minutes. The same situation might exist on that side of the ship.
  8. when comparing prices between RCCL and X keep in mind that on X your suite price includes premium drink package, premium WiFi and gratuities, RCCL doesn’t include any of these.
  9. I followed a Live From report that used the dining package to eat at Le Voyage also. Perhaps the confusion is that the Tasting menu at Le Voyage is not included but the regular dinner menu is included.
  10. Celebrity Silhouette fact sheet shows double occupancy is 2902 and max occupancy is 3324.
  11. My Silhouette cruise in August is showing the same pricing.
  12. If you want to see the Northern Lights probably better to plan a land vacation. I wouldn’t plan a cruise just to see Northern Lights but sometimes it happens. Northern Lights run on a cycle, we’re on an upswing now that peaks in 2025 I think. from a Princess Norway Arctic Circle cruise last August from Minnesota the night after we got home from said cruise. This August we’re on an Iceland Ireland cruise, will we see Northern Lights? Maybe, but that’s not why we’re going. After reading about the May cruises I’m just hoping we get to dock at the Iceland ports.
  13. I booked my October 23 cruise on 7/27/2022 shortly after they released. So maybe they will release fall 2024 soon.
  14. I read on other threads about the sale that others had called and we’re told the CC discount was not stackable on the Flash Sale.
  15. They mentioned it in the last power up points webinar, I think it's February 25.
  16. When we went they dropped us right on the beach.
  17. Since no one has mentioned yet, NCL has the highest daily service charge, gratuities, after the last increase and shortly after that increase has reduced stateroom service to once a day. Celebrity still services your stateroom twice a day for a lower daily gratuity. I prefer Celebrity, my next cruise is on Silhouette out of Southampton. My last cruise was NCL Joy and I enjoyed it after all my precruise purchases were finally honored after way too much time spent at guest services during the first 4 days of the cruise.
  18. Since you disembark in Honolulu you can spend an overnight or more.
  19. At one time I think Royal Caribbean tried rotational dining similar to what Disney does, I think when Quantum first sailed. NCL tried the one dining room always formal thing and has abandon that idea.
  20. The main pools on Millennium class have stairs. I'm not sure about solarium pools.
  21. Looking at the 24/25 Caribbean itineraries released last week it seems only about 20% of cabins can be booked as specific cabins all the rest are not booked but not available to book, assuming held as guarantees. Neither of my preferred rooms on the Sun were available to book. I sent an email to the customer relation address asking why. We’ll see what they say if they bother to answer. If I can’t get my preferred room for my Pacifc Coastal later this week I won’t have much incentive to continue booking.
  22. I would guess the handicapped rooms were made available to all about the same time the family verandah rooms were made available for only 2.
  23. It took two weeks for a reply and by that time I had decided to cancel that cruise and book another so I'm not sure if the fix would have helped me to book other excursions on my own or if I would have had to send an email for each excursion I wanted to book.
  24. send an email to: customerrelations@princesscruises.com the fixed the same error for me I sent the ship, date, confirmation # and the error message and they booked the excursion for me
