  1. All of Iceland is below the arctic circle.
  2. I don't like the different Sunset bar on Reflection and my fave room doesn't exist on Reflection since the pool and buffet are on the same deck.
  3. Princess will be releasing Hawaii 2024 next week.
  4. On sale April 19. See other threads for itineraries and prices.
  5. Caribbean2024-25Standard_PlusSailingScheduleFaresAmenities_2023_0405 3.xls This has prices
  6. I have not found this to be true. Although I always book via a TA and all my fare payments are processed by my TA. I have always gotten a refund for canceled excursion, spa, etc.
  7. When I've canceled excursions well in advance of the cruise I never received an email confirmation and I found the amount of time for the refund depended on the card I had used. When I used a Citi Visa it took 10-14 days, lately I've been using a Delta AMX and I see the refund the following day. Last summer Princess canceled an excursion after we left home but before we boarded the ship, some on the roll call reported a refund I was given OBC.
  8. Or maybe a 2 day and 3 day. It looks like April is missing for the Sun, I wonder if they will cruise her the canal and back.
  9. We paid $209 per person for a 5 night itinerary in August 2024 and $289 per person for a 15 night itinerary in January 2023.
  10. My final payment isn’t until next year but I can make reservations now.
  11. Caribbean, Crown, Emerald and Ruby could be referred to as Grand Plus class as they all have an extra deck of staterooms leading to a higher tonnage and capacity than the Grand class ships.
  12. Sapphire and Diamond are sisters. Ruby and Emerald are sisters. Sapphire/Diamond are not sisters to Ruby/Emerald. The 4 ships are not a class. NCL has a Gem class, not Princess.
  13. Before the most recent revolution of S class all balconies had taller bigger tables that were great for eating. E class may have bigger tables in the higher end suits, but I don't think any lower categories ever had a table adequate for eating.
  14. The B2B would transport you from one US location to another, can't be done legally on a foreign flagged ship without stopping at a distant foreign port.
  15. Your proposed B2B violates the PVSA and wouldn't be allowed. IF booked on a legal B2B in the same room you do not have to pack and repack, if booked in a different room you just move your stuff but don't have to take your stuff off the ship. One medallion would function for both legs.
  16. Two very different ships. The only area I see as comparable is specialty dining.
  17. I don't think there is a specific timeframe when dining becomes available. Dining reservations were available for my Beyond cruise in January 2024 before I could book dining for my Silhouette cruise in August 2023. Just check periodically.
  18. There’s no set time. As they arrange them they will be posted to book.
  19. We were on the Joy through the Panama Canal. Vibe was open 7-7. The bar was open 9-7. They opened early the day we went through the canal, 5:30 I think and had coffee and pastries for us. I’m not sure if other ships are different. The hours are not listed in the daily. There is a sheet with the hours along with the wrist bands when you pick them up. Other than the canal day all other days were the same hours. If too windy not all seating areas will be open but the bar will be.
  20. That post was the first I've heard of it and the rules were not clear. The OP might be in RS or above. If they aren't aware of the option it could be worth checking into.
  21. There was a recent post about a package you can purchase for them that would allow them to board with you and gain Retreat access. I believe it was mentioned they sell only a dozen or so per sailing. I forget the name of the package. I think that is what you would have to do for them to board with you.
  22. When booked all meals had been paid for, they should not have charged anyone.
  23. Wait and book on the ship. I booked a table for 6 and paid and had the other couples pay me, but after dining the other couples were charged and we were told we had credit for two more dinners. It took the rest of the cruise to convince GS to refund them and remove our credit. Way too much hassle.
