  1. No contradiction... The difference is in the terms 'fully vaccinated' (first two primary doses), and 'Up to date' (booster doses).
  2. Apples and oranges comparing Princess ship configurations to HAL's.
  3. Any cabin below the Lido deck is just asking for noise from above, no matter the specific location.
  4. If they're cruising RIGHT NOW, then they should already know the correct protocols, and if they don't, it's a little late to be asking about them at this point.
  5. Best advice is to avoid ANY versions of protocols until it's really time for your cruise.
  6. We would never book a cabin directly below the Lido deck, no matter how 'good' you think it is.
  7. But definitely not crush proof. Nothing fragile or breakable can go into one of those.
  8. But then technically, it's not credit for use onboard only anymore, like it is now. 😉
  9. And if they ever do, they'll also have to change the name (acronym) from 'On Board Credit' to something else.
  10. Although I believe I understand your logic, I still think this is a bit of overkill in today's electronic age.
  11. Lay out every possible item you THINK you might need... Then put half of that away. Whatever remains is what you should pack 😉
  12. It's not that big of a deal. Most of us recognize it for what is (incorrect information) and move on.
  13. It's essentially 'use it or lose it'. If you don't use all of it on a single excursion, you can use the remaining toward another one. The excursion credit cannot be used for anything else, and you'll lose it if not used for an excursion. We have ~$5.00 remaining after booking two different excursions on a 7-day cruise.
  14. Maybe without extra charge, but the guilt part... not so sure about that. ðŸĪŠ
  15. I made a reservation for Tamarind the other day for our NA sailing next March.
  16. 'Mediocrity' is of course a totally subjective term when used in describing one's personal experience... especially with food and food quality.
  17. Doesn't matter really. PG menu is the same throughout the fleet.
  18. We have HIA for our March '23 NA 7-day sailing. DW and I were offered one dining credit each for Tamarind or PG (no Canaletto) for our complimentary specialty dining choices.
  19. I see on HAL's site that Rudi's is only featured on Pinnacle Class (Koningsdam/NS/Rotterdam). Am I missing something here? Is it typically offered as a 'pop-up' on other ships, and if so, when do we know when it will be available for a particular sailing... only after boarding?
  20. Which is exactly why I prefer to manage my own bookings directly with HAL every time. Eliminates the middle person, so they can't muck something up. If something gets mucked up with my bookings, it's on me, and I have no one else to blame.
  21. It is.. but if you're not paying attention, that's on you.
