    No it can’t - we got caught out as once you are onboard it just shows up as OBC so we thought we could use it to buy a watch from the shop, but we ended up paying for the watch on our credit card. By the ways the Essentials package is $300 shore excursions credit - $150 per person.

    Same happened to us so we could use our free days on the cruise we booked while onboard

    Interesting that you filled up at the Patio - presumably you mean at lunch time? Did you ever try the Patio in the evening - we have had dinner there a few times and it’s always been lovely.

    It wasn’t obvious, I only found out it was there because I went to ask at Guest Relations to ask about it.

    The mid-cruise questionnaire is still available, but instead of being a paper questionnaire delivered to every cabin, there’s a notice in the Insider daily newsletter, along with a Q code you can use to access the questionnaire online. You can also as for a paper copy at guest relations.

    A lot higher! The point being made was that the poster liked not having to show their room card.

    Try Azamara - you don’t need to take out your key card to get upgraded drinks. Initially they ask your room number, but after the second or third drink they know you and remember.

    Makes you realise how good the service is on Azamara and how well the crew work together as a team.

    No advantage to us as we’re Discoverer Plus so will get 20% onboard

    We’ve not her been on Explora, tho’ we have a cruise booked for April, but we have done a lot of cruises with Azamara and you might want to look at them as well, possibly in. Club Continent Suite as they have bigger balconies.

    Yesterday I couldn’t login on my IPad, though could on my IPhone. Today I can login on both, but my account isbnow showing that I owe £776, which is exactly the sum of the costs of the excursions I booked and paid for using OBC when I was on my last cruise!
