  1. They seem to have done something to their software over the last day or two. Suddenly I can only get into my account on my IPhone, not on my IPad and when I do it shows that I owe £776 which is the exact amount of the OBC I have already paid for the excursions I have booked! I’m going to give it a day or two to see if it sorts itself out before contacting them.
  2. Thanks fruitmachine. That worked and I could see that the £776 to pay in the ‘Summary’ page is the excursions I booked using OBC. They are shown as payments made on the ‘Invoice’ page! I still can only get into my account on my IPhone, but not on my IPad - haven’t tried on the computer! I’ll leave it a day or two to see if it sorts itself out before emailing them.
  3. Just checked my upcoming cruise in Manage My Reservation and it’s saying I owe £776, when previously it has shown no money outstanding, Urgh!!!
  4. I can’t log in on my IPad unsung Safari or Chrome. In Safari the first time I clicked on login & completed the email & password, it just went back to the Azamara opening web page, after that when I clicked on log in nothing happened at all. Using Chrome when I completed the log in information I got a message that the login had failed with no reason given (eg email or password not recognised). However I can log in using Safari on my IPhone, but my Azamara Circle status and points are not showing?
  5. My account shows my level and my points, but only shows past cruises in the last couple of years. I had to send several emails to get it sorted out.
  6. When we were booked in an Oceanview, we were only offered the chance to bid for a Veranda or Veranda Plus.
  7. It may also be worth emailing Dondra Ritzenhaler (CEO) or Erin ODonnell (Head of Loyalty) direct. I had an issue about a shore excursion that I had emailed Customer Services about twice and got no response.   8. There is a list of included cocktails and you can ask for any cocktail that can be made with the included drinks. The costed cocktails are all made with spirits from the packages. The main difference between the two packages is that the Ultimate package includes wines and the Premium package doesn’t. You don’t have to buy a package beforehand, you can buy it at any time during a cruise and only pay for the days from then. Why not wait until you get onboard to decide?
  9. We were also on the last leg of that cruise back from Cape Town to Gran Canaria. I’m not sure if it’s true to say the ship’s captain lied about the cause of the gastro problems, it seemed to us that no-one really knew. It transpired that the cause was probably water bottled in Cape Town where they have rolling electricity cuts. The pool wasn’t closed for the whole of our cruise, it did open for a couple of days. We we’re given a 1 day FCC as my husband was confined to his cabin for a day. We were able to apply this to our next cruise on September.

  13. You don’t specify which ship, but actually it doesn’t matter as they are all the same. Yes they are old, but that doesn’t detract from the quality of the experience. We’ve done 13 Azamara cruises, with another booked for September. The main thing for us is the friendliness of the crew and the great passenger mix, as well as the food.
  14. I’m amazed at your experience. Our experience is generally that they come to fill up your glass as soon as you are two thirds of the way down your glass.
  15. I agree with you, their IT is not good. We had a similar issue with getting into our accounts. After three sets of back & forth emails my account now works, but my husband’s doesn’t. However there’s not much to see on the account and there seem to be no ‘Destination Experiences’ (shore excursions) available for our April 25 cruise, despite having just had a general email from them saying they now have ‘Destination Experiences’. The account and booking side of the website is Veronix Seaware, which Azamara are also using. It works better on Azamara, but it took a long time for a Azamara to improve it and it still doesn’t work properly for everyone.

  17. Hasn’t changed - all included drinks plus one bottle of spirits in your room, use of speciality restaurants, 1 laundry bag per 7 days, 240 minutes Wifi (or 50%of Wifi package), access to thalassotherapy terrace.
  18. Not found it to be the porters who issue the priority stickers. We usually find the porters are outside the terminal to take your luggage and then you see someone just outside or just inside the terminal who tells you where to go depending on your priority.

  20. Price isn’t necessarily an indication of good wine. We had a friend who was a wine master and he was brilliant at seeking out some great bargains and making us some good recommendations. He often bought wine at Aldi and would happily pay £7- £10 a bottle.
  21. We’ve upgraded and paid the difference when we had a promotion. We’ve also upgraded for the last few days of a cruise.
