  4. great review for your short cruise. .Did you take the Bright line both ways? Read today that fares were going way up! You posted one of the best sailaway photos ever! Clear skies, smooth seas..love the colors!
  5. Looks like they are treating you and the Queen quite regally.. Reminds me of how Celeb used to be before the Royal C takeover!
  6. hope patient does well..very intricate evac scenario... to the experts: if the helipad area location is not best suited, why is it placed where it is on most ships?
  7. Scorfman..can you explain more about this meal? thanks
  8. after seeing this mentioned several times by Scorfman..I finally looked it up.. 'Goshuin (御朱印) are seal stamps given out at many Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines across Japan. Each goshuin is a unique work of art, consisting of the shrine or temple's name in black ink calligraphy, a distinct red seal representing the location, and the date of the visit" Assume these and other stamps mentiined are part of a trip collection?
  9. so nice that they have a Japanese tea menu and sake tasting...brings a bit extra culture to the cruise..Enjoy! I enjoyed the recent photos..contrast of red, black and white is very striking! The deer were very cute...hope well cared for.
  10. looks like it was a very nice gathering..not over crowded. What did they serve or pass around in addition to a toast? Acrobatics at sea always amaze me..!
  11. i though it looked great too..Hope to see it on the menu on Silhouette.
  12. Glad you have a nice table with a view! Food looked excellent..hope it tasted good too! MDR would be fine for us with that menu!
  13. You should get a canvas bag with soft handles..no zipper, but a zipper pouch inside. That's what we got in AQ class..It was in the closet.. if not ask your Room attendant..You can take it home. Pool towels are available at the pool, no limit, and left there in bins after use. (there's no check out/in system) ..Beach Towels for shore excursions are in the cabin, or supplied by attendant on the evening before port .and must be returned at the cabin. ( charge applies if lost)
  14. til next cruise review.. . we are sailing in Dec 24 on Silhouette, and again Jan 2025 APEX.. Nothing booked after that!
  15. safe travels thanks again for many shared moments .
  16. Very nice pics of your " closed port" walk and coffee.. Probably would be more crowded if a non holiday
  17. On average, if anyone knows, what per cent of cabins per cruise are comped or discounted for gamblers? Are these prime cabins, like the suite nentioned here or " leftovers" if bookings are slow for cettain ships/ itins? Do these deals bring alot of revenue to Celebrity? if gambling alot..it would seem less spent on excursions, dining, shops, spa etc???
  18. thanks.. I have hair that frizzes in Fla, on cruises, and esp parts of Italy..so I have ways to tame it. But breathing in humid air is sometimes stressful which is why I asked! Also arthritis can flare.. but does not sound extreme there.
  19. another great review... Glad you are home safe without any travel issues!
  20. Another great review..enhanced with the videos! Thanks for sharing!
  21. great posts... Two ques I have..does the canal water look and smell clean? And is the air very humid,?
  22. Aqua does not get any special lunch, and its restaurant BLU is not open for lunch during the cruise..only bkfst & dinner. .You can arrange to go elsewhere including mdr and specialty dining for dinner.. and for bkfst and lunch buffet or spa cafe.
