    I guess which side of the Hudson River that one lives on can affect one's point of view. I also live 10 minutes away from an Amtrak station.

    What is the itinerary? Let us know how you like sailing out of Bayonne. I have yet to try it.

    No need for a car. Amtrak to NYC Penn Station and 5 minute cab, or even walk, to the ship.

    You do not have to pay to reserve the Two70 show called "The Book". And it is the only show in the ship requiring a reservation.

    That is why I said I rarely use the feature on MY buds. And yeah, if my plane's pilot or ship's captain have something to say then I want to hear it.

    Hard to play clarinet and sing at the same time!😄 I sing. It works with guitar and piano.

    When I was in NJ for a while it seemed to me that getting in and out of Manhattan on NJ transit trains was a piece of cake. I did it frequently.

    Very first cruise was Manhattan to Bermuda.

    Don't underestimate what Manhattan can figure out.

    RCI should have made Manhattan the home port instead of Bayonne. But then, just like Crown Bay on St. Thomas, customer convenience doesn't typically seem to be high on RCI's priority list.

    It has been awhile since I've done anything besides an O or Q class ship. I've been wondering how I'm going to feel going back to Freedom. However, I've had great times on her, and other V and F class ships, in the past and expect all will be fine when I board.

    Kind of goes along with RCI's reputation on being consistently inconsistent.

    No, she liked the coaxial cable carrying the cable TV signal. I lost count of how many times I had to change it.

    Unless I get something booked before, Freedom will be my next cruise.
