  1. We attempt to have at least one photograph during our sailings. There are several different locations set up on Gala Evenings for those who would like to have a photo ex Couples, Solo and even traveling Group Members to record a memorable time. A common location is at the Grand Staircase in the Grand Lobby. The Photographer will take about a half a dozen or so poses. You can also request poses too! You will be able to view the following day at a kiosk in the Photo Gallery opposite from the Chart Room on the QM2. A Photographer does not expect a tip preforming theie service.. We have enjoyed looking back at the photos and remember the time it was taken.
  2. I agree with those above that the department supervisor (housekeeping or Hotel Manager) should be approached. Your concern about the way cabins are being handled while being turnover either in the morning or during turndown service in the evening be explained to you. It not uncommon for veteran Cunarders to view this during their sailings. We commonly see this during the cabins being served by the cabin steward on our sailings with several cabins door open. As mentioned above, with a wedge. Also you will know cabin stewards at working with the Service Wagon in the hallway btw the cabins. If you have concern if someone is inside, do not enter but call the name of our Steward if they are there. If not there, they maybe next door. I believe they do keep an eye on their cabins. If you have further concerns, do call the Ship's Operator to have Security response to the cabin.
  3. We actually came there once after one of the hurricanes and the restaurants told us about loss of power the week before. Also we still heard the buzz of saws during our stay especially around the more tree lined streets.
  4. Napria, We had Fiona ahead of us and lost Sydney as a Port of Call since we were ask to bypass due to their recovery stage in progress. Also in Sept Iles we had quite a bit of winds we experienced. In Boston, we had rain and stayed on the ship too wet. But Quebec was glorious! Don't think about it weather just enjoy!

  6. Looked like the Arrival after our New England/Canada via Quebec in October. If so, thank you Kathy! Didn't get up in time.
  7. From the Park in Staten Island next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal towards Brooklyn
  8. You can not reserve a spot in Brooklyn. It's a first come, first serve. We heard this for the last two years especially with MSC docking there. We parked at the terminal after MSC came and still found spots to park. Not close to the terminal building itself, meaning a bit of a walk. There are 500 parking spots on the Terminal grounds. We expect to park there in next March and hoping there are no fee increases before that time.
  9. Was talking about Kings Court before they close for Audio Muster Station Message over the PA System.
  10. I agree everyone would like to board the ship and start the sailing while still docked but to avoid the initial crush would start the trip more pleasantly. If wanting to lunch on board, the locations do stay open towards the 4 o'clock hour. So when ever you can board, you will have plenty of time to enjoy a memorable voyage.
  11. Experiencing those themes on September 2022, quite a number of passengers enjoyed coordinating with the theme on those Gala Evening during the Canada/New England sailing. I was happy to see so many passengers a biting by the themes which also included Masquerade Evening and another Gala that was unthemed. That unthemed one was mostly a return to Black & White. Your could find the themes for your particular sailing by signing on your Mr Cunard Booking Site and go to the My Calendar. It will tell you the Dress Code for each of the days our your sailing. ex, Smart Attire, Gala or (Name of the Theme Evening Name. I think on another thread your mentioned, you should I believe 2 Theme days. There is also a thread with a link designating 2025 Dress Code for each sailing passengers have been sharing.
  12. We were guarantee once thru our TA and was holding our breath when we would hear from Cunard. We kept in touch with the TA and still never heard until 13 days before. Yes, we were now able to enter the My Cunard to print all the docu's needed. Once we were on the QE2 and got an Upgrade right at the Check In Desk in the terminal several grades up. Surprise, yes! We were assured we would have no problem directing our luggage with the new location. So sometimes Cunard can advise as soon as they can and some times up to the last minute. Hope you hear soon....
