  1. We wrote to a email address that we were given onboard lt time (unfortunately can't share) to ask for information about future voyages. The recent answer received for our next March 25 sailing - "We usually get the insight speakers 6 months out from a voyage. If you would like to email us a little closer to sailing, we would be happy to give it to you." So there is a period of time till they can proper release information about a voyage contents.
  2. Drumbeat 16, Besides as I previously said to you we did Britannia Club but if you can and wish to try Princess Grill, we did also Princess Grill on 10 on a 13 day sailing and enjoyed it. Princess Grill on 10, the cabin was located in the Forward portion of the ship. We never experienced any movement while in the cabin. Actually we enjoyed it very much with the location and cabin features. Again you will enjoy the view from the balcony and even upgraded balcony furniture placed there.
  3. We have never had a problem in the Club Cabins on 12 and once in 13 cabin. It is high on the ship but also mid ship which helps. We also love the views from the Balcony when we have booked the cabin. You will enjoy the QM2 and all it's offers.Once on board you will catch the Cruise Bug!
  4. Agree with @NE John Experience the Pub Lunch, Afternoon Tea and also a Wonderful Stroll on the Deck 7 Promenade Deck looking out on the Vast Blue Ocean. You will once experience the QM2 & catch the Cunard Cruising Bug. The wonderful interior is way different then the NCL vessel. The feel of a Ocean Liner.
  5. They use to have a page announcing for each ship the coming speakers for each sailings. But eliminated it quite some time ago. We don't see them now till viewing them upon boarding.
  6. Our favorite ship, QM2 of the Cunard Line. Has what we would call a Classic Promenade Dreck. 3 Times around equals a Mile. Very well used both Morning thru to Evening.
  7. We sail on the QM2. Early 70's us, Americans and enjoy all the aspects of the Daily Program and Activities Offered on board.
  8. Entertainment in the Main Theater - Musical, Individual Performers, Comedians, etc... Movies in the Film Theater Casino Dancing in the Queens Room w Theme Evenings Dancing in the Disco Music ex. Jazz, etc. in the Individual Bars Trivia Shopping Stroll on the Promenade Deck Library Cocktails in the Commodore Bar to name some Maybe some one can post a copy of a Daily Program...
  9. Sometimes experiencing this situation on board I know can be challenging. We try to keep to balanced items on the menus from breakfast to dinner. We even ask for additional vegie's since some plates don't have too much plated. Like on board our Cunard ship, they do offer variety of Juices they will help and also Stewed Fruits for breakfast. I do hope you can solve your problem if it pops up and still enjoy your sailings.
  10. We sometimes attend a activity the hour before with seating available and just remain till the dining time starts. You also have more of a chance on longer day voyages with more time to attempt dining. We find it works.
  11. Remember Well During Those Times...on the QM2.....
  12. You will not be able to view them till you booked the sailing and had a booking number to access the Shore Excursion part of the trip. You may not also be able to view all till you are getting closer to the sailing date. Maybe around the 4th or 3rd Month prior. If excursions is popular, they may add additional space when on board.
  13. Jack, Fortunately my DW and I have not changed in the last 7 years surprisingly. Being 72 this year, I am still being taken honestly for 60 and DW 71 for youthful 62. When asked for our ages in conversations, people are amazed. I know my dear departed father left us at 97 and still looked like early 80's Must be Genes I guess. At check-in's laugh are exchanged for "What, Really" when seeing ID's. In profile photo - you two look GREAT!
  14. We uploaded our photos that are a file we repeat using, when the final check in at the 21 days before sailing with the credit card we intend using. They have always accepted them and no need any action at the pier. Just have to have the right size and area they want visible. We fill in NOK after booking.
  15. YES, IT'S TRUE...........1 MORE YEAR !!!!!......WOW.........Countdown continues......
  16. Many times it is applied by Loyalty Points gains over the history of sailing with the Line or Company. Unless in a Very Upper Category Cabin/Suite where it can possibly be applied.
  17. Computerization does take time when a travel agent is involved in booking a sailing and forwarding it to the travel agent first. We always had to wait when anticipating a copy of the confirmation from the Line thru the agent. We now book with the line directly with little wait. We too wish to see what is in the Booking site like everybody else.
  18. Our Line Cunard did release their 2026 we can see on their website. You should look at the Lines you are interested websites for future sailing on the year you interested in. We have received mailings from lines sailing in later 2025 and early 26.
  19. On past sailings we work with the photographer while listening what they suggest and then mention what our thoughts are and work out the pose. We know that they may sometimes have a line at certain times, but we go when a line is at it's lowest. And we both can work out a pose worth purchasing and saving. We do prefer the Grand Lobby Staircase as a background to those rolled up backgrounds some parts of the ship have setup on Gala Nights. Interesting but still artificial. And on the last sailing, we took a friend on the Mary 2 for the first time. We all past a photo shoot location and all took a shot to see what a photo would good like. Being a solo, she was a good sport and did a solo shots and was pleasantly happy with the results on purchase. We enjoy working with the Photographers on board.
