Today's sunrise is from my 2014 QM2 crossing on the way to Europe to return on the Wind Star. I was reminded in reviewing my 10/31/14 blog entry is that at this time one of the perks of an Eastbound crossing is that we start out on Daylight savings and arrive on Standard time so we only lose 4 hours instead of the usual 5. I did ti for Christmas in 2019. The one thing I don't like about the Auto Train is that Baltimore to Lorton is probably the worst part of the drive but it still makes things a lot easier. Unfortunately, I leave the Eurodam November 20 so I hope the railroads come to agreement instead of striking November 19, Roy

Many HAL ships are actually scheduled for 3PM (Including my Eurodam 11/9). Not sure if this applies to Rotterdam or not. NA departure is pretty much at the mercy of the charter group. Roy
