  1. Many of us believe because the previous CEO LLP and the title of CEO were removed, it's RCG's CEO Jason Liberty running the show and wants to bring many RCI items to X
  2. $2.40. I almost never see anyone at the gelato case. They must give away more to those with status yet then they sell, yet X keeps that around
  3. Occasional, presenters will announce they’re leaving the ship at the next port. While it could be personal, I wonder if X is kicking them off?
  4. X knows they’re not a foodie brand anymore; if they cared they’d increase the food budget. Some may ask “do you expect their food to be as good as 2019?” My answer is “no, it should be BETTER than 2019”
  5. In all fairness, X’s cruise contract allows them to make cutbacks/changes at will. What’s disappointing is virtually nothing is being added
  6. Lately it seems RCG is trying to see what they can get away with new/increased fees and cutbacks. It’s like they’re trying to be the spirit/frontier of cruise lines
  7. I haven’t read 9 pages and am sure this has been pointed out; this is from the playbook of RCI (and carnival)
  8. Pillow chocolates, 1st & last nights only; you can reach out to your stateroom attendant to request them nightly AQ canapés, gone AQ amenities, by request yet I’m being told on the Millie at least, if you populated the AQ form online, that’s no longer being used. Must be requested once on board with your stateroom attendant and therefore will probably be first come first serve
  9. They also had the new pilot MDR dinner menus including the notorious double cheeseburger
  10. How about since the restart there have been virtually no passenger-friendly gains, only continued cutbacks. I will commend them for keeping the e-muster going and the addition of Starlink but I believe RCG told them that all RCG ships are getting Starlink whether or not they wanted it
  11. We'll see about vaping, sounds like it's here to stay. AI has evolved overtime, sail only was allowed for all room types at one point and then someone on here complained about being charged for drinks at the retreat who didn't realize they had the sail only rate. Coincidentally that's when X abruptly removed the sail only fares then fast forward to your story where they relented by allowing sail only again for Concierge Class and below
  12. If we all had to guess how many questions she would take, I'd personally guess five and at most 12. I believe her team is going to pick 95% x-positive questions and maybe one neutral question such as a food quality question where they'd answer "We've heard from a small minority of passengers saying our food hasn't been as good as in the past, that's why we've already introduced new MDR menus fleetwide" So the question is itself is far more important than one's CC tier status (just my guess)
  13. Maybe it wasn't automated and therefore someone would need to take the extra steps to look up their tier status by CC number It does ask for your "hometown" as well vs them wanting to look it up in your profile so it appears they'll just simply display whatever is populated in those fields. Interestingly, you probably stumbled on why exactly they want us to resubmit (they don't want to look anything up, just display what's populated)
  14. I travel a lot and am just pointing out everything is accurate. 99% of the time, regardless if you booked direct or with FBC, when the airline cancels your flight they rebook you on the next one with availability and then MOST airlines will allow you to change to a later flight for no charge. Some budget airlines are more restrictive with their "basic" fares and will just refund you if the flight is cancelled which means you're on your own to rebook often at expensive last minute flights. Overall point being, with a FBC flight that was cancelled, check the airline app first and it should be pretty easy to see your next flight and also if you're able to change to a different flight. If you don't like what you see or understand how to use the airline app, then contact customer service The question I have not seen the answer for is FBC often allows you book a flight during the same day of embarkation. If that flight gets cancelled and the next flight has you arrive after the ships sail away, then what, does FBC monitor this and just rebooks on a flight to the next port? If the next port, do they fly you a day in advance and pay for lodging so when you wake up the next day you can enjoy a full day in the port? Not sure how any of that works
  15. My work uses AnyConnect and for all of 2020, it would only work on password protected secured networks (you enter the wifi password directly into the wifi network) as they stated they wanted us working from home and not at Starbucks. That could your problem. X like all other cruise lines and most hotels use a open wifi network which is "secured" by a webpage captive portal where you enter an username and password
  16. Assuming you're bringing your Mac or PC laptop, they both have built in hotspots which is the same thing a travel router does and they're far easier to set up. For Macs, in the settings search for "internet sharing" and for PC's it's "mobile hotspot". I've successfully used them both on X's starlink many times. Test this out when your free, put your phone in airplane mode, and setup a laptop hotspot and connect to it PC: Mac:
  17. Didn't realize you were that far
  18. Groups like to meet up there; there can be multiple group meet ups there
