  1. Both versions of the Chairmen's cruise, Jeddah to Athens and Jeddah to Rhodes have gone to "Join the Waitlist" recently.
  2. Yes, I totally agree. My experience with him on Mahler and on Symphony.
  3. Crystal haven’t said nothing, they have said they are working on it. Being patient isn’t easy.
  4. There is some discussion on this thread that you might find useful. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2980841-dover-to-heathrow-return/#comment-66716479
  5. For frame of reference, the Silver Moon left Athens January 16, going around Africa, arriving Mumbai February 14. Thus suggesting Symphony could do similar canceling Singapore to Mumbai to Athens, March 12 - April 13 sounds like a possibility.
  6. Which cruise lines have cancelled/changed their March and April sailings already?
  7. I don’t board until Bangkok going through to Singapore. I look forward to meeting you and others. Russ Grieves is currently CD until Singapore at which time Vicki van Tassel takes over. Gordon Porth will be in Cove from Bangkok onwards. Colin Salter replaced Dan Davies in the Avenue in Sydney today until March 12 at which time Dan returns. Carl Wishneusky is Guest Entertainer from Bangkok to HCM.
  8. Both the March and April transits are east to west. In December, the Symphony goes Athens to Mumbai.
  9. SS is just starting to address its Feb 12 sailing from Mumbai to Singapore. As Crystal’s sailings are one and two months later, as bayonejoe says, it’s too soon to expect an answer to such a fluid situation so soon.
  10. Or maybe they will go the SS route which is sail empty from Athens to Mumbai or wherever the Moon is actually going.
  11. The Symphony leaves Mumbai March 27, the Serenity April 14. Thus both ships, the later 2+ weeks behind and on the World Cruise.

  15. Thank you! I’d better get around to making some restaurant bookings etc.
  16. About how many are expected Bangkok to Hong Kong to Singapore? TIA.
  17. I recall someone posting about their experiences re on the Explora board but not what the details were.
  18. Explora makes you pay for excursions when booked, so you can’t use OBC unless you wait to book once onboard.

    2026 Cruises?

When I was onboard in November, they were saying 2026 itineraries are due out first quarter of 2024
  20. Yes. Embark/debark was at the Maritime terminal. Bus transportation to/from the ship was provided from there.
  21. I did happen to notice that today's Reflections (12/26) showed Jon Aston's cooking demo in the Stardust at 10am.
  22. That’s too bad. It’s a video a friend sent me of all the ships in port this morning.
