  1. Which port? Old Town or Pan American?? Old Town is just across the street. Pan American is a walk and through a not so nice area....not worth it. Take a taxi.
  2. Yep...We did...Prices were high but this was crazy. Won't stay at this Sheraton again....We'll go back to the Old Town Sheraton. I guess the off set for us was we got an amazing rate for our B2B OS on Explorer and our first class flights on AA.
  3. Looking for some great food in Mazatlan...Try Panama Restaurant & Bakery just around the corner from the Mazatlan Central Market. We were there in January and will definitely go back during our next port stop.
  4. Mazatlan try Panama Restaurant & Bakery. Just around the corner from the Mazatlan Central Market.
  5. We were in St Kitts on an RCI port stop in mid March...no test needed. The info you're seeing is old.
  6. Our Deadliest Catch tour would have been much more this time booking it directly for our September port stop. I must say this has never happened before as it's usually been cheaper. We booked with our ship.
  7. When we did a B2B on her out of San Juan in March the Hotel Manager told us she would be getting her much delayed amp in early 2023.
  8. Celebrity does at times with certain restrictions ....RCI does not...nothing new about that.
  9. Agree..Mid to late May has always been our favorite. This year September is just what worked out for us and our extended family.
  10. OP this has worked for us also with RCI but doing the reverse...Seward to Anchorage using the cruise transfer train.
  11. We'll be doing our 5th Alaska cruise in September roundtrip out of Vancouver, Sitka, Tracy Arm, Juneau, Hubbard, Ketchikan...We usually do the Northbound which is our favorite....and one you should try. Glad you enjoyed yours.
  12. Yes...That would be interesting. One of our flights can't remember which one did have a great visual of exactly what/where we were flying over.
  13. I was agreeing with Poocher in that "fleetwide" on any RCI ship GS and above. Sorry my post was misunderstood.
  14. I booked all our air for the rest of this year shortly when they each opened and so glad I did. My best deal was our DL One from LAX-AMS end of this month.
  15. My cruise disappeared when it was sold out and then returned back just before final payment. Another of my cruises disappeared from the website but not from my cruise planner when it was chartered. I was notified about this one at a later time and was able to rebook another date and was price protected.
  16. Perfect decision...It's not necessary to book this with the cruise line at all. We actually purchased our HoHo tickets once we got there...a quick easy walk from the pier to where the trolly was parked. Don't forget to go into Quincey Mkt area...some great food options in the food court !!!
  17. While storing your bags might work...Why not put that expense towards a car rental. Once you store your bags at FLL...then what...you'll need transportation !!
  18. This is a great idea that has been posted about in the past. I assume the shuttle dropped you off on the upper departure level and then you went down to luggage arrival and found the cruiseline staff. Sounds pretty easy. Any trouble booking the transfers when putting in your day before flight arrival info? Considering doing this for our Oct San Pedro cruise which is one way but we won't be arriving at LAX from a flight but from a flyaway bus shuttle arrival morning of cruise.
  19. Yes, I have but, I would have preferred my screen to work. My DD recently flew DL and she got a $50.00 credit too...not sure if it's because flights were business/first though.
  20. From what we've experienced recently they seem to be heading back to delivering them nightly. Perhaps RCI didn't realize the backlash this created from cruiser's that have missed them. "rudney" regardless of age and technology abilities !!!
  21. Yes...Fleetwide...regardless of RCI ship.
  22. It's usually nights 2 & 5 or 6 but check your compass as it can vary. RCI doesn't enforce dress at all....it's suggested and I think you'll find that it's become very very casual regardless of what night and dining venue you're using. Things have changed a lot since you last sailed in 2004 on RCI. Enjoy your cruise and welcome back !!
  23. Book onboard...reduced deposit $100 pp. Book within one year deposit $200 per cabin. Up to $600 off or $600 OBC based on length of cruise/category...if you book onboard or within 2 months. Suites no reduced deposit.
  24. Ordering room service breakfast from the MDR menu. Late night MDR menu desert...of course before they close at 9:00pm.
