  1. Thanks so much enjoyed your posts...however I'm assuming you arrived at the terminal 1:00pm ?
  2. The OP's keyword was "each port".
  3. Then more than likely you may have overpaid...but your decision. We've had amazing transportation with Cruise Control. Best of luck and enjoy your cruise.
  4. Haven't used the AT&T International day pass for a few years. I do remember it was $10.00 per 24 hour period. So I can text unlimited ? Don't need to make phone calls. I have however used the Wifi calling onboard my last four cruises this year (a lot) to text my family that has iPhones but now one of them doesn't so it won't work to text them now...right? I guess I'll just have to email them.
  5. But he does have a "particular set of skills" .
  6. Hmmm....Interesting, we had a port day in St Kitts onboard Explorer also in March and certainly didn't see this.
  7. Welcome to Cruise Critic... Family of 5...try looking at Home2Suites.
  8. Take the 1:20pm flight...should be no problem.
  9. That depends on timing. This past late April we arrived right around noon and was surprised it wasn't bad at all. My DH dropped our group off in the rental car and he then took the car back and the shuttle brought him back within less than 1/2 hour.
  10. Flying DL One LAX-AMS via SEA will I have access to the lounge?...Outbound & return in SEA and I'm assuming I'll have it inbound in AMS.
  11. We've done both the ACT when we've had an early flight time and also the cruiseline booked train transfer. With the train you must book directly with the cruiseline and your flight home out of ANC can be no earlier than 2:30pm.
  12. We were just in Cabo again in January and was surprised at how long the line was at Cabo Wabo to get in....so it still attracts many tourist's. Enjoy whatever you decide to do...after all it's your vacation.
  13. We were on Harmony late April and it was still closed. Everything still has to booked once onboard.
  14. Usually the first departure time for self assist can be at least one hour after arrival once the ship has been cleared. So this depends on your arrival time. We're OK to schlepp our bags also... ours roll very easily.
  15. Of course more up to date info is online. But mine are all full of specific notes I've made over the years that I've gotten from personal experience or from many poster's here on CC...so their kinda special or at least to me and have helped to answer many questions that crop up occasionally. I get several high end cruise brochures but have no use for them...I've tried to "unsubscribe" not that I ever did , with no results. Thanks Idubs for responding...always like hearing from you.
  16. Following ...Our extended family will be on her September 18th sailing and we'll have two young grandsons with us....Hope you have some tips on what's onboard that may interest them. We recently got off Harmony and they know it won't compare
  17. You should have no trouble getting a table for two. Check your cruise planner for MTD reservations....or change to MDR early. Show reservations can now only be made once onboard.
  18. What time did you board the bus heading for Seattle at Canada Place and where did you get off in Seattle and what time? Did you fly home that day?
  19. It's just what I prefer. Much easier to read. No ulterior motive involved at all and what I have always done. Hope this satisfies your curiosity
  20. Print out a hard copy of your negative covid test taken 2 days prior to your cruise to take with you to the terminal...but I'm sure you know that. We check in on our desktop not on the app. No need to download anything. Pics of our vac card and pics for our SeaPass are taken at the terminal.

    Raptor Center tour

    I know...right...I didn't either.
  22. Avoid the Embassy Suites. We used to stay there years ago but have happily found Hyatt Place is better suited for us now.
  23. I miss those hard copy brochures RCI used to mail me. I still have a few and refer to them often for basic info.
