You might also price Hampton Inn at Blue Lagoon. They offer a free shuttle from MIA to their hotel. They might have a port shuttle ($) otherwise Uber or taxi.
Rent a car at MCO. I'll suggest Home2Suites in Port Canaveral. If you're a Costco member check online for a car rental. We used Budget...easy to drop car off day of cruise and take their shuttle to the port.
The form that RCI has includes the medical authorization.

A closed loop itinerary (caribbean so I'll assume yes) just have her birth certificate (raised seal original) and the form (notarized) giving her permission to to travel with you if parents aren't traveling.
Serenade is adding a self service laundry for the world cruise. I hope they leave it afterward.
I for one would like if RCI started adding laundry facilities. I was very impressed with those on PCL but that was the only thing I was with.
Many many years ago I actually purchased a small travel iron onboard RCI.
I brought it onboard until they went on the forbidden list....safety first had finally caught up to the cruise line.
Thanks so much for your current info. Too bad as this worked out nice for those that needed it.
The shuttle to the port is overpriced and based on their timeframe....we always take a taxi.
I look at RCI website and if there's something I'm specifically looking for I make a quick call to RCI and they easily tell me what's available besides what I'm seeing. No big deal as I'm usually looking for a suite.
OP it may work out better to just take the DIY transportation that may be offered by your cruise line. We've done this often at certain ports that are a distance away.
They let you off at a certain place in the city and tell you the time to return to the pickup location. This has worked out easy for us and might for you also.
Just something to consider.
RCI and maybe other lines offer a cruiseline train transfer. We used it from Seward to Anchorage and when we got off there were cruisers getting on to go the other way. This option can only be purchased directly with the cruiseline and it was we thought priced well, not as expensive as the train mentioned above.
Hyatt Place offers a shuttle from FLL to their hotel. Not free but it's only $5.00 per room reservation not per person. Some of our family members have used it and it worked out great.
I have to agree. The Asia cruise I mentioned above was not listed as an "immersion" one. We were definitely the small minority (as well as some Brits & Aussies) on the ship but everything was said in English first as was the entertainment.
Somewhere I asked the same question. I was very disappointed and was hoping for a Singapore -Shanghai or vice versa. We've done that itinerary before with RCI and loved the ports which certainly didn't include Japan which I'm not interested in at all.
