  1. We went with our grandkids (5&10) last September including our adult son and his wife. Sitka...Fortress of the Bear and Raptor Center. Juneau...the Musher Camp Ketchikan...Deadliest Catch Bering Sea Tour. Personally I agree about the train and young kids...I wouldn't even consider that.
  2. Ketchikan....Deadliest Catch Bering Sea Fisherman's tour. Check booking via your cruise line vs their direct website for best price. One of the best tours at this port.
  3. I've been looking at several DL flights...multiple routes/dates etc and most all of them have the notated "X" as not available on some seats with random locations. Long time DL flyer and this appears to be rather new.
  4. FYI......The above is RCI fleetwide not just Indy specific.
  5. We pay no attention to this at all...it doesn't matter to us what crew happens to be onboard. We've sailed for many years on RCI and the only two captains I can even remember are Cpt Johnny and Cpt Selvig...no idea who anyone else was.
  6. You'll have plenty of time. I would book with one of the many private shuttle companies. We've used Cruise Control 888 416-8830.
  7. Crown Bay used to be a submarine dock and when RCI started sailing the larger Oasis class (needed for the depth) there they signed a multi-year contract. I too miss docking at Havensight.
  8. So sorry this happened to you. We've port stopped often here over many years and have never had any problem with a taxi.
  9. We visit these ports (Cabo & Puerto Vallarta) often during our Mexican Riviera cruises. We prefer to walk-around both of these and so easy to do. Cabo an easy tender and Puerto Vallarta we take a taxi to the Malecon. You should have no concern about safety but I'll agree with you about Acapulco.
  10. On the RCI ships that offer the Oceanview Panoramic I believe....suite perks are included.
  11. OP...best of luck to you in whatever you decide works best. It seems that you've been given several options...make a decision so you don't have to keep posting in what now seems a very defensive response about the situation that's been created.
  12. So sorry you didn't think the dates out and the Easter holiday when you booked the cruise.
  13. Ask on the Carnival board but more than likely either on the 2nd or when the cruise is completed and will be the higher level on your next cruise.
  14. You should have no trouble getting the earliest time slot to disembark. I would still stick with the noon flight...less time to spend at MCO with kids.
  15. The hair dryers onboard (most ships now) are Conair 1875..I have the exact one at home and it works fine. Also they have a switch so you no longer have to hold the button down continuously.
  16. Yes...just go to guest services once onboard.
  17. More than likely you'll make a noon flight from MCO. We self disembarked (4 adults & 2 kids) used a private shuttle company and were there in plenty of time for our noon flight.
  18. In the past I was able to use this link long before I got an email.
  19. What category are you booked in and what are your choices?
  20. I'll vote for the roundtrip on Brilliance...a great itinerary !!
  21. We've used Cruise Control...and would highly recommend them. 888 416-8830
  22. More than likely your hotel may offer a shuttle to the cruise port...fee will be pp.
